USA Immunity Agreement

The "Philippines has signed an agreement with the United States giving US citizens in the Philippines immunity from prosecution by the International Criminal Court (ICC). Foreign Secretary Blas Ople entered into the executive agreement in an exchange of notes with US Secretary of State Colin Powell..."Inquirer says, "Washington refuses to support the ICC, arguing it could become a forum for politically motivated prosecutions of US citizens including civilian military contractors and former officials, and has been on a worldwide campaign to sign immunity deals since the court came into being last July."
"Others have suggested the agreement was a requirement for the Philippines to qualify for inclusion in the multi-billion-dollar US Millenium Fund to combat terrorism."
Hey, patriots, the USA never gives something for free... a security-related assistance in exchange of immunity, what a deal???
