::Switching to the Mozilla Firebird browser

Tuesday, May 27, 2003

I have installed Mozilla Firebird browser today. It empowers you to accomplish things online faster and more efficiently than any other browser. I have tried opening my Geocities home page and alas! its pop up ads were blocked by the Firebird browser. Unfortunately, I have to open my netscape 7.0 to login to my blogger.com account in order to edit this message because I forgot my password. Anyway, check out and try this browser, Firebird stands out ahead of every other web browser.

  • Tab-Browsing
  • Better Bookmarks and History
  • Best Accessibility
  • Intelligent
  • More Responsive
  • Most Extensible
  • Standing on the Shoulders of Giants
  • Popup Blocking
  • Annoyance Eliminator
  • Find Stuff Faster
  • Simplified Privacy
  • More Space for Pages
  • Simplified User Interface
  • Personalize With Themes
  • Fast to Get, Fast to Use

Mozilla Firebird is a redesign of the Mozilla browser component, similar to Galeon, K-Meleon and Camino, but written using the XUL user interface language and designed to be cross-platform. More information about Mozilla Firebird is available at the Mozilla Firebird Project Page.
