Friday, May 23, 2003

Good news to friends who are running win XP! MSN Messenger 6.0 beta is now available for download. It supports video conferencing for win XP users, has new user interface (looks similar to Windows Media Player 9), integrated webcam and gaming on Zone.com, and chat window backgrounds. Users will also see better Webcam support for Windows XP, more games and most importantly 75 new emoticons.. More details have emerged about what MSN Messenger 6.0 will bring. According to reliable sources close to neowin, MSN Messenger is indeed going straight for the consumer and leaving Windows Messenger far behind. MSN Messenger 6.0, due to be released on the 17th of July will include a myriad of personalization options aimed at home users. View Image

My PC has dual boot running win 98 SE and win XP operating systems but I never tried using webcam on XP as my Yahoo! crashes. I was not certain whether it was because of my Creative Pc Cam 750 driver or that's Yahoo bug. I have noticed that Logitech cams have been widely supported by any video programs but, I didn't like its resolution and image quality.

Maybe I will try to install MSN messenger 6.0 on win XP. Hey! Johnny, you should upgrade your MSN too, this is your chance to see my video! For those who wants to know who is Johnny, well... ask me.
