In celebration of the 94th International Women's Day today, Republic Act No. 9262 or Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act, sponsored by Senate President Franklin Drilon, Senator Luisa Ejercito-Estrada and Speaker Jose de Venecia, was signed into law by PGMA, witnessed by top women officials of The Kalakasan (Strength) Foundation, at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.
