::Miscarriage

Saturday, March 20, 2004

The common-law wife of my eldest son, Tintin, had a miscarriage since three days ago but, we didn't know about it. No one knows. She started complaining of abdominal pains and she was bleeding. She had mistaken it as her monthly period.

Yesterday, they went to the hospital late in the evening and I didn't know what time they went back. They bought all the prescribed medicines, she was diagnosed with symptons of kidney stone and she was advised not to eat salty foods and drink more water than she normally does...

But, her situation did not improve and she was brought back to the hospital. They later found out she had ectopic pregnancy and she needs urgent operation this evening. While writing this blog, my eldest son arrived to get some more money. Tintin needs immediately blood transfusion for her operation.

I was weakened and saddened that my first unborn grandchild is dead :-(

butterfly Let me know you were here, your thoughts are welcome!

I'm so sorry to hear about the lost of your grandchild. I lost my baby 3 years ago too.

Although I didn't liked my children to have kids yet because I wanted them to finish their college education first, it still hurts that my first unborn grandchild died. The fetus was barely two months old.

That's terrible news. Let your son know that they are in our prayers. I have three fantastic grandchildren myself and know how that anticipation for the first one is. It's almost the same as waiting for your first child to be born.
I hope that they are able to get her fixed up and in good health quickly, and that there are no complications. We'll continue to pray for your family.
