::New Toy

Friday, May 21, 2004

My new toy, a P4 2.8 GHZ 512MB PC400 DDR Memory 128 MB Inno 3D GF4 VCard 80 GB HDD Black Series PC has been delivered this afternoon. As usual, it's running on dual boot OS, win98SE and winXP Prof, in a 4-partitioned HD.

Many thanks to the warm customer service given by Tommy Reyes, the MCS branch manager of Starapple Computers, last Saturday, May 15th, when I made the above purchase.

Owning a MAC or a laptop remains in my wishlist. My children's education is my top priority for the next 4 years...

butterfly Let me know you were here, your thoughts are welcome!

Hi,
I finally figured out how to do some links on my blog so I am actually having my daughter post my pictures on her website and now I link to her page. Blogshares is getting quite boring now that they have remodeled the Ideas area. Jusy and I have been competing with each other over who can turn over the most blogs (Most Transactions) and that is kind of fun, except now she is beating me. We drew a little attention to ourselves, but everyone has settled down and realize we are not cheating.
I had a day off from court today and so I played with my blog and of course played blogshares, as well as stopped off at some of the blogs I hang out at. So all in all it was a good day. This morning I watched a Outer Limits Marathon (6 episodes back to back) and tonight I am watching a Law and Order Mini marathon (3 episodes). Soas you can tell, life is exciting. I sure hope you get your DSL soon. Must be frustrating. Take it easy.

Hello, Randy, glad you find time to visit my blog. Due to my dialup internet access, I have to limit my online presence because phone is also a necessity and cannot make the line too busy all the time... I visited your blog but photos you posted were too heavy for my dialup to load :-(

Wish I could get back my PLDT DSL internet to enjoy this new toy well...

Have fun with the new toy. I have a new toy myself, but I don't want to set it up until all this house remodeling is done. Don't want all the dust and all to screw it up. Mine is a gift from the wife and while I don't know all the specs, it's a dual pentium something, that is supposed to be extremely fast. Frankly I still love my G-4 but I have had this thing for about five or six years and was looking at the Apple G-5. The wife tells me that what she got me is equivelent to the G-5 so I guess I'll have to see how it goes when we finally put it up on line. Hope you get your DSL up fast.

Well, of course I love my computer this is why I had given it to my children and I bought a new one for them to have something to wish for a better PC for themselves. Giving the kids something to wish for encourage them to strive their best...

Definitely, I cannot use the new PC 100%, as my kids wanted always to explore anything what I have... so, anyone could imagined I will have hard time taking time to use it for my own advantage :-)
