DSL Is... Partially Installed

Wednesday, June 02, 2004

Twice I received a phone call from PLDT this morning but no one has showed up until two o'clock in the afternoon so I decided to go to SM City - Bicutan to canvass some cellphone products and prices (as requested by my eldest son) but, when we were out, I received a text message from my Sweety that those people I had been waiting for since yesterday showed up as soon as we left.

Too late to go back, I advised my daughter to assist them. Linemen had difficulty identifying our main telephone line connection since we're in the fourth floor of the building. I couldn't blamed them, anyway, because the assignment of numbers in every unit was very confusing. The beginning symbol and the last symbol are both located in the fourth floor and we're occupying the 18th unit, by the way.

Now, the DSL is already installed but, for some reason, I still couldn't access my account. Modem was off and daughter told me those PLDT linemen will go back tomorrow to test the connection. Due to this inconvenience, I had lost the opportunity to buy 1 million ideas of Apple Mac at B$ 11,697.13 only because my dialup connection was too slow this evening: Lucky Ziggy, he got the ideas!!!

butterfly Let me know you were here, your thoughts are welcome!

What's the deal? Did they forget to show up? I see you have topped 3 trillion tonight, good going. I have been taking less time on blogshares as I have been haning out on a heavy traffic site answering questions about my jury service, as that trial was quite newworthy here in Southern California.
Also my son returned from Westpac today. USS Fletcher returned at 9:30 this morning and it's good to have him back and safe. Get that DSL up girl. I miss rapping with you.

You'd figure since they do this all the time they would be a bit faster at getting service started. Guess not. Anyway, I hope they get this thing fixed for you really quick. Type at you tomorrow.

I have read the article and bookmarked it to read history links of the trial. Will read them when I have a faster internet connection.

I am still waiting for PLDT myDSL linemen to continue their DSL installation work.

Hi there,
Glad to see they are getting you hooked up even if they are a little slow. Well my jury duty is over. Heres a link to the case: http://www.thesandiegochannel.com/news/3375337/detail.html

I am emotionally drained tonight. We recommended the death penalty and it was really hard but necessary for the families of these two kids. When we vere voting many of us were in tears and all but the 14 crimes he committed that he was not tried for, the 70 year conviction he is currently serving and the murder in Florida that he still has not been tried for made it over the top in everyones mind that he has to die. I thought I would feel guilty, but I don't, and I don't think it makes me a bad person. Now I can get my life back to normal and go back to work.
Anyway, I guess that's all I have to say about that tonight.
I sure hope they get your DSL fixed up. When mine went out a couple on months ago, it was due to IP Address problems that took them a while to straighten out. Hopefully they'll get you fixed up tomorrow. Talk at you tomorrow.
