::First Assignment

Wednesday, June 16, 2004

Reviewing and learning with my kids each time they have homework to do are fun. Her first assignment, she has to write 150 verb in its present tense and 150 verb in its past tense then, use them in a sentence.

She asked me to review her work but, before doing so, I browsed for irregular verbs online for reference. Well, I must admit that during my school days, I excelled in most subjects, especially in Math and Science, but not in English. Honestly, I am shy to teach the kids now because I never step in college but, as a mother, the strength and the will to assist them in every way possible will always be there.

Anyway, after we reviewed her work, she has written the required 300 sentences. It's almost midnight and I told her to go to bed.

While looking at my daughter fixing her things, I suddenly remember my eldest son. Somehow, I feel good and relax because few days from now, he will soon receive his package. We finally gave the package to the person who will deliver it to him , and thanks God, there's nothing wrong with his cellphone...
