Heavy Monsoon Rains

Kids had no school since yesterday due to heavy monsoon rains. Many areas in Quezon City were flooded and suspension of classes was announced immediately long before my children leave the house.
I was feeling so sad for those families who had lost their family members, belongings, and properties to flashfloods and landslides. Life, sometimes, is cruel to those unfortunate victims of neglect and corruption.
Although the kids and I are safe, may God bless and have mercy on us all...
