::Getting Older

Are you prepared with the consequences of getting older?

I hate to admit it but some white hair are now proudly growing along with my silky black hair. Excess weight is inevitable. Just last week, I had swollen gums and a severe toothache. My vision is impaired that I had my eyes checked today when I accompanied my mother to have new reading glasses.

These are the results:
Distance: OD - 0.25 OS - 0.75 ADD OU + 1.75
Reading: Right eye + 1.50 and left eye + 1.00

Too much computer stuffs and inactivity resulted in an unhealthy me. It's time for you to have a look at a mirror and see if you are still the same person long before you became addicted online.

butterfly Let me know you were here, your thoughts are welcome!

Hi, Lady Laila! Don't worry about growing old. I'll be 52 on Weds., March 2nd. I've written quite a bit about growing older, indeed it was my reason for starting my blog. To write down memories of my life in the past as well as to read and comment (perhaps help) on the blogs of young people going through the same things that I've already been through.
Life is a gift! It can be taken away at any moment. Live your life to the fullest and you will never have any regrets. And although I did some stupid things when I was younger and probably will do some as I grow older, I have no regrets in my life. I have a wonderful hubby and five unique children. My parents gave me much love and I am trying to return that gift to my family and friends.
Your blog is very beautiful and I will be back to read more. When you have time, I welcome you to visit my blog and comment if you wish.

Hi Laila!

I use to worry bout getting older and wished I was a little bit younger again, until my big brother gave me a hard newgy to my head 10 minutes ago, so now I'm happy with my age and can't wait to get older so I can move out, and hope all the bumps on my head go away!

Thanks for the BlogShares, money but what do you mean by investing it into expensive ideas, and how do I do that? I had an idea bout starting a business selling baby hamsters, but I think my hamster Duckie is gay!

I hope you have a nice weekend, and here is a very big hug!

Ha ha,
Well I have had bad eyesite all my life and it has actually been getting better over the years.
What I am finding now in my age of almost 50 is that if you don't watch and get minor injuries checked by a doctor then you are leaving yourself up for major problems. A simple fall has messed me up for months now, and it could have all been taken care of had I seen a doctor right away.
The gray comes with age and I have lots of gray hairs. I would use some of that hair dye stuff, but I think the gray hair makes me look more distinguished.
Yeah, I would love to be eighteen again when I was full of energy and all, but then would I make the same mistakes all over again? I might even make worse mistakes.
Anyway, healthy diet, healthy workouts (when I can get this back healed) will keep me in shape even if I do show my age a bit. After all it is God's will.
Anyway, take care of yourself and don't worry about aging. It is nature.
