Plushie Tycoon

Wednesday, June 01, 2005

Finally, I'm now a Neopets Plushie Tycoon (PT) champion ranking 56th (out of 400 tycoons) with 3,425,673 NP (neopoints, Neopets local currency) profit in May's Plushie Tycoon game winning 100,000 NP plus PT champion trophy.

Plushie Tycoon is a game that takes a month to play before we could finally get our NP prize. The game runs from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with time zone preference conveniently based on time availability. We buy materials, start jobs, hire personnel, ship plushies from warehouse to the store, and sell plushies with 50,000 NP capital given at the start of the game. We also pay for the rents of factory, warehouse, and store (including advertising and store upgrade). And, oh! The tax man visited me every 6th days and taxed me once in the amount of 4,394 NP (8%). I had less than 50,000 NP whenever tax man came to see if I was making profits, or should I say, I avoided paying taxes by keeping lower NP on hand.

In April, 57,490 neoplayers tried the game but, only 370 tycoons made it at the end of the game. It does not give that much neopoints compared with time invested but, the game itself is addictive and this is where I hang out in neopets site everyday. Here is the prize we get for playing the game:

  • over 1,000,000 NP profit - 100,000 NP prize plus PT Champion trophy
  • over 250,000 NP profit - 50,000 NP prize plus PT 2nd place trophy
  • over 50,000 NP profit - 25,000 NP prize plus PT 3rd place trophy

If you are bored and idle, would you like to try the Plushie Tycoon challenge? Here are useful links that will guide you throughout the game:

I am not sure whether I will play this game this month. Kids will be busy in school and vacation is over, no more late nights for all of us.

May 2005 Plushie Tycoon Report

Others believe Neopets games are for kids only. I cannot blame them because it took me 4 months before I finally registered a Neopet account with interest in Black Pawkeet and Brucey B slots, who wants a virtual pet, anyway? However. as I explore the game further, I ended up sending my pet to a training school to increase her level, strength, defence, speed and endurance using codestones and dubloon coins. I had no intention to have a fighting pet but she later fought in One Player BattleDome (BD) and won 140 out of 142 (98.59%). Playing puzzle and action games everyday is a must to earn and save more neopoints.

May I know what is your username?

We're doing well with Plushie Tycoon but, it's taking too much of my time. It's like working from 9am to 5pm and I was glad I gave it up for World Challenge.

Posted by: Laila* on October 29, 2005 09:33 PM

Hmmmmmm next question where do i find world challenge as i am certainly not cut out for neoquest been there tried that and wasn't so good at it. I am sorry to be so annoying but i have only been at neopets for like 9 months cause i took over my daughters account so I have much to learn...

Posted by: devil on October 29, 2005 03:29 PM

ty for that as i have found plushie tycoon extremely frustrating

Posted by: devil on October 29, 2005 03:04 PM

Devil, there's not much neopoints in Plushie Tycoon...

Try World Challenge or Neoquest II to get picture pieces and rare items, sell/auction them and you'll fast earning millions neopoints in just one month!

Don't you worry, you're not the only one experiencing difficulty these days with Plushie Tycoon.

They changed the game every 6th months and unfortunately, there were many changes they made this month. Please check out this page and follow all the links.

Also, you may ask Plushie Tycoon top players their strategies and how they were making lots of NPs.

Enjoy!

Hey, Michael, do you know what is the Wall Street URL?

:D

Posted by: Laila* on June 3, 2005 11:09 PM

Laila you should be a Wall Street Banker.

Posted by: Michael Paul on June 3, 2005 10:58 PM

Yeah. It's about time we move up to the rankings, Randy. 3,425,673 NP is nothing compared with roweslab's 25,042,678 NP profit.

Go! Go! Go!

Great post and great month in plushie tycoon last month. We were running neck and neck until I got stupid and went bankrupt. I still managed to make it to the points level in five days though. This month I am shooting for the top and hope to be about 25 Million at the end. I just have to make sure I don't do something dumb again. Good luck this month.

Randy
