Annulment Cost

Tuesday, January 31, 2006

I had a busy but promising day today.

When I notarized N 3660's Affidavit of Loss, I had thought to drop by at Mr. Matabang's office, who is the Chairman of Civil Registry and author of RA 9048. He was the one who helped me corrected typographical errors on my birth record in 2003. I mentioned to him about my annulment concern and he told me Atty. D can explain well what possible expenses I might involved myself with.

She said that some considerate lawyers will charge lower than others. Upon hearing from her the annulment cost, I realized it will be impossible to minimum wage earners who are earning less than US$200.00 a month to avail a lawyer's service.

And, oh! Atty. D revealed an interesting fact about fake marriages. If you had been married in the Philippines, the only way to verify whether yours is a valid marriage is when you verify and request for certification from the issuing office where you had your marriage and find out if the marriage license number has been issued under your name and your spouse name.

butterfly Let me know you were here, your thoughts are welcome!

Maya, I am just a client who availed of a divorce lawyer's service. You may inquire from your local RTC Hall of Justice. There are many available lawyers there who can help you with your problem.

Annulment fees will cost you between 100k-150k.

Lolly,

Please tell me, what happened? Going through annulment case takes time.

I suggest you should be emotionally and financially ready to undergo legal proceedings. It will cost over a hundred thousand pesos to file for annulment. Please verify how many digits is your marriage license, where you signed your marriage contract and where it was issued. From there, you will know whether it is fake and have grounds for annulment. Otherwise, you have to prove psychological incapacitated of your spouse, which might take a year.

I am glad to share some enlightenment. Keep in touch

Laila,

I am so happy that things are working out for you. May God keep you safe and continue blessing you. Hey we are both falling in the standings by the way. Have to correct that. Anyway, I wish you a wonderful life with your soul mate.

My Love, I can't wait.

I am too excited upon knowing the marriage license was invalid. Now, all we need is file the Declaration of Nullity so that we can both move on and have our own valid marriage both in God's eyes and the public.

Prayers do work for both of us!

Laila my love,

From our chat I know that the papers are fake now, and I am so happy that you have never been legally married. While I am so sorry that these men tricked and took advantage of you, I can't wait until we get together and do it all right. This is so awesome I can't contain myself. Tonight"s mass was right on the mark and the candle I lit must have taken affect too, because you were uncertain when I left for church and knew by the time I got home. In fact according to my chat the time was just about the time I was on my knees praying that everything would work for us. God has answered.

Love Ya.
