Bad Fall

Friday, March 10, 2006

I was taking my morning shower when daughter knocked at the door couple of times telling me the owner of the building was looking for me. As I stopped the shower, I opened the door and told her to ask what Mrs. Garcia wanted. When I walked to continue my shower, I slipped and had a bad fall. It was a painful one and I had spent about 2 minutes before I managed to get up and rinse the remaining shampoo off my hair.

Although I was limping and had upper back pain, I did some grocery shopping with Junjun and Tintin later in the afternoon. Unfortunately, when we arrived home, my two sons had misunderstandings caused by Tintin. I had to fix the goods in 20 plastic bags by myself and just then I felt again severe back and left knee pains. In spite of that, I was able to cook fried Tilapia and Pinakbet for dinner.

Glad mother arrived late this evening and she gave me good massage. Thank you, Mama, for the unconditional love and care....

Laila,
If it does not feel better soon see a doctor. We all know what happened to me after a fall right before Christmas a couple of years back. I still feel it when the weather changes. Back injuries can fool you in their seriousness, and if not taken care of can affect you for life.

Please if it continues to hurt get it checked out. I am glad your mama is there to assist you in your pain. Sometimes a massage is not good enough though. I hope you feel well soon.
