Incomplete Grades

Thursday, March 30, 2006

Paul Denise didn't come home last night since he left in the afternoon to follow up his remedial class in Physics.

When he showed me yesterday a note from STI College about his fair and incomplete grades, I exploded with anger.

Three years ago, he told me he wanted to continue his studies and would take it seriously. When I sold our house in April 2004, I sent him and Pearl to college. Pearl did well with the TESDA Automotive course she had chosen and Paul Denise, although intelligent in class, missed going to school due to addiction to online games! I advised him to take afternoon class but he insisted to get morning class because all his close friends were in the morning class, too.

Almost every night, I had to tell him to go to bed and in the morning, I had to wake him up and reminded him to go to school. My son will be 25 on May 3rd and yet, I feel he doesn't have any ambtition in life, except being my son!

I feel so lost and a failure as a mother when it comes to him..

butterfly Let me know you were here, your thoughts are welcome!

I love all my kids and I didn't want to see any one of them failing and the rest are doing better... somehow, I am hopeful he will wake up one day a responsible man.

I will keep praying for his welfare...

I hope I can have a positive influence on him as I deal with people his age on a daily basis and seem to have a knack for it.

I know it is a disappointment for you to see him wasting the time and money he has wasted by getting an incomplete. Hopefully we will turn him around.
