Happy Birthday, Denise!

Wednesday, May 03, 2006

First of all, I want to greet my son, Paul Denise, a Happy 25th Birthday!

Early this morning, Randy and I recited the rosary first before eating breakfast. I had oatmeal mixed with chocolait milk while he had Beef Pot Pie with ice cream cone and soda for dinner.

We watched Fox's House today excitedly. Euphoria has two episodes where Dr. Foreman exhibits the same symptoms as thier patient with uncontrollable laughter and tomorrow's episode, the medical team decides whether to perform a brain biopsy on Foreman as he faces death. We watched also CBS's NCIS and NBC's Law and Order Special Victims Unit.

Randy logged out at past three. He knew that we're going to watch M-I-III starring Tom Cruise but Paul Denise was too slow and seemed not interested. We argued a little bit and I almost postponed treating the kids out to a movie. To neutralize my temper, we went instead to SM Bowling Center at 5 p.m. Pearl and Denise teamed up against Junjun and Tintin. They played two rounds but Denise's team won. Only two successful strikes were made by Pearl and Junjun. It was first time for Tintin to play.

I hurriedly asked the kids to eat in the mall because I want to go home before 8:30 in the evening. We're arguing where to eat, whether we will do it in Super Bowl of China, Shakey's Pizza, or Pizza Hut until we passed by in a Family Karaoke. Denise had been asking me to try the place since last year and after knowing the cover charge and room rates per hour, we got our place and I sang one song, kids were too slow selecting their songs. I got 77 score with a note that I can go home, the kids laughed at the message. With a sad face, I stood up and pretended leaving. But, as I went out of the room, I ordered the food but were disappointed with the food and beverages available. Everything I asked were out of stock. I was uncomfortable and wanted to leave but, I didn't like to spoil the evening. As they served the food, kids alternately sang their numbers. We barely noticed we've been there for almost two hours until they informed us whether we like to extend for another hour. We had enough sore throats. Besides, I need to be home before Randy logs in back online.

Kids had fun but, were unhappy with the food and extra charges they added to the bill. To satisfy them, we take out some food from Jollibee before going home. While waiting for a cab, I prayed and wished my Paul Denise a nice future, full awareness about life, and a productive year ahead.

Happy Birthday, Denise!

butterfly Let me know you were here, your thoughts are welcome!

I hope they will realize that there is no place better than being at home. From the food, caring, and the warm accomodation they are getting from me... :)

Sounds like everyone had a good time, and I am glad you were able to do things for Paul Denise's birthday. I am glad the kids have decided that it is better to stay home and sing rather than got to the Family Karaoke. They can get more for thier money that way.
