::Case III: Collusion Investigation

Monday, May 22, 2006

I had a bad morning, as usual, because this is the fourth day that I didn't have DSL internet. I had to use PLDT VIBE dial up internet access to chat with Randy on yahoo and retrieve my mails because even I can logged in to my ISP server, the packets sent and received were below 5,000 in five hours period.

Anyway, I logged out at 1:50 pm and went to RTC Bldg., with Pearl. I met my counsel and she briefed me before meeting the Fiscal assigned to investigate me for Collusion. We debated on some matters because she said I had to lie on one question if ever I was asked about it. Telling the truth is not all the time important in the court. They want you to tell things that is within their allowed rules or my counsel will be questioned for not teaching me the right way of talking to them.

We went to second floor (RTC BLDG) and paid PHP 500 for Fiscal fee. We then went to the fourth floor where we met the Fiscal. Four people were ahead of us and we're the last one accomodated. Unlike in the court rooms, Fiscal's office has air-conditioning and I feel better even I was nervous. So far, the investigation wasn't that difficult but just asked me questions related to contents of the petition we submitted.

After we paid PHP 300 for mailing fee, my counsel advised me not to disclose any information online on what happened with the hearing because annulment case should be kept private while the case is on-going.

I paid my counsel her appearance fee and she reminded me that our next meeting will be on June 14th, for Case II, the correction of my birth records.

butterfly Let me know you were here, your thoughts are welcome!

Sorry for delayed reply.

Internet has high bandwidth speed only during first 10 minutes of connection and then it slowly go down until I didn't have enough bandwidth to do any transactions until all our connections dropped.

I am still waiting for the promised 2 mbps.

RE the case, I might have the pre trial hearing next month. My counsel will let me know about it soon.

Well at least the cases are moving along. I hope you get the DSL stuff fixed as it is really frustrating to not be able to talk to you on Skype, as it keeps dropping, and to have you watch your favorite shows and all.

These folks from PLDT seem like real idiots. How could you have 4K of bandwidth all weekend, then get 1.5M of bandwidth for a few hours, only to have it go back to 4K.

At least we can communicate on dialup. I would threaten them not to pay the bill as you are not getting the service you paid for.

Anyway I hope they get it fixed soon.
