Flu

Friday, June 12, 2009

First of all, HAPPY 111th INDEPENDENCE DAY!

This morning, I woke up with stuffy nose and a sore throat. Could it be an ordinary flu that might lead to asthma attack?

Last night, I spoke with my elder sister who is confined at Chinese General Hospital. She will stay there for a week to undergo several tests. She needs oxygen to aid her breathing, due to Bronchial Asthma in Acute Exacerbation (BAIAE).

This afternoon, I told her I won't be able to visit her because I think I got a flu. She reminded me to have a check up immediately and have plenty of rest. Jane, our sister-in-law, is suffering from asthma attack as well.

Now that WHO raised the influenza A (H1N1) to Flu pandemic, I hope mine is just an ordinary flu. I couldn't be sick as Randy will be coming to visit us. I hope God will make me stronger to fight any sickness.
