Time TunnelThursday, June 30, 2005If I have the ability to turn back the clock, I will set it again in 2000, under JOSEPH ESTRADA's administration. That's the time when all these mess in the current government under Arroyo's administration began. When SUSAN ROCES (widow of late FERNANDO POE, JR., the one who allegedly won the 2004 Presidential Election) demanded GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO's immediate resignation yesterday and said that Arroyo stole the presidency not once but twice, I told my daughter that GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO was a bad role model for the country. What kind of legacy she will pass on to the next generation if she will continue holding the position she didn't have the true mandate of the majority of the Filipinos. What will happen with the government institutions (like Supreme Court) that supported her in spite of nationwide protests? GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO disappointed us enough. The only way for her right now is to exit and call for SNAP ELECTION or let PRESIDENT ESTRADA redeem his legitimate post. Sending her husband and son abroad wouldn't resolve the embarassment the First Family caused us. Why they will go abroad? Are they running away from Jose Pidal and Jueteng issues? Ah! Wish there is a time tunnel... it would be easier for us to prevent Arroyo's supporters from ousting the legitimate president, JOSEPH ESTRADA (he was forced to leave Malacaňang Palace on January 20, 2001); at least, there's no Iraq war yet; and, most of all, I (still) have my property [sobbed] ...

Loose ConnectionWednesday, June 29, 2005![]() Half- awake, I asked daughter to enter PIN code to lock IDD access while she's turning on PC this morning. She always received invalid error messages and I decided to request from 171 to reset our old PIN number to default when all of a sudden, our telephone line was dead and so was DSL! I paused for a moment and jumped out of bed. I yelled while running to the balcony. I was right, I saw a man checking the telephone boxes downstairs. Without thinking, I grabbed my cellphone and went downstairs. I crossed the street and took this photo. To my surprise, daughter followed me and courageously taken a close-up shot of this man in the picture. We found out later that this guy was BayanTel's lineman upon his supervisor's clarification. After thorough arguments why our telephone went dead, the BayanTel field supervisor asked my permission to open the telephone box which was locked by PLDT lineman yesterday. Voila! He detected our telephone line was active yet my daughter was yelling from the fourth floor that our telephone line remained dead. I stared at the lineman sharply. He stood firmly he didn't touch anything. Then, the supervisor offered to check our telephone line upstair and found out it was really dead, he went down and inspect the wire connection from the box to the building. I was watching from the balcony when daughter shouted the line was restored. Damn! The stupid lineman caused the problem. The supervisor has to use a ladder to fix the loose connection. Glad my intuition tells me to go out and check, otherwise, I won't have DSL and telephone today. PLDT often takes 2-3 days to respond to service request... by the way, DSL is running perfectly today! No DSL InternetTuesday, June 28, 2005After wiretapping discovery this morning and old modem had been replaced, I still do not have DSL internet access since 5:00 o'clock this afternoon. I have to connect using VIBE, PLDT's dialup internet, to access the net but, my usual online activities cannot be carried out due to very slow connection. I have been enduring these inconveniences for the last ten days now. I called 172375 but their line was either busy or dead. I already sent two emails but never receive any replies from their technical staffs. MyDSL PLDT is a big company yet they gave poor service when it comes to internet. Gone were the days Infocom handled my technical inquiries in real time when we were still in Parañaque City.

HARAMIYA![]() EEKKKK! Someone wiretapped us! Since ten days ago, I was complaining with myDSL PLDT tech support about our intermittent internet connection. From morning until late evening, we couldn't complete any file download and caused me a lot of NP loses when playing Pawkeet slots. My agony ends today (I hope) when they sent their lineman to check the quality of my telephone line. I asked him to wait an hour until I fired my plushie workers and read some mails. And, guess what he discovered? Someone wiretapped our main telephone box and hooked another telephone wire leading to the same building where we live! My greatest concern now is, what if they made a lot of overseas call using my telephone line? Oh! God... why there are people like them exist?

I Am SorryMonday, June 27, 2005The Philippine president, GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO, has now finally asked for forgiveness from the entire Filipino people (broadcast in national television) and admitted it was her voice in the GloriaGate Scandal. ![]() As senator Panfilo Lacson says over GMA7 telephone interview, "Now that she authenticated the tape, she must vacate." It's now a matter of moral issue than political and I believe she should step down. After all, I do believe that she's not the legitimate president and she caused many of us the feeling of hopelessness. Enough that she serve this country for couple of years after they ousted PRESIDENT JOSEPH ESTRADA. I didn't see any positive changes under her governance. Which is a serious offense? Wiretapping or election fraud? Ah! GOD BLESS THE PHILIPPINES. TrespassingThursday, June 23, 2005I had the usual afternoon nap when all of a sudden: ![]() These were not Neopets random event. My daughter left our main door opened wide and confidently checked her files in my PC. A/C was on and she closed the door of my room. I woke up and asked her if Paul Denise arrived home. She said no one was around except us. Half-awake, I opened the door and caught a greasy mad woman eating. I asked her who she was and replied to me firmly she was the owner of the building. I looked at my daughter and asked her if she allowed the said crazy woman inside our house because she was eating. She went out of the room as well and we pulled the woman out of our unit but she refused. Daughter brought her arnis out but, I told her to leave her to me. ![]() We realized later she didn't like to leave because she wants to get her rock back. She even threatened us to call the police to ask them to kick us out of our unit. I just smiled (when she said that) and advised her to come back later because we're too busy at the moment, then shut the door. Both daughter and I were surprised that someone was able to enter the building. We found out later a tenant was moving in and this crazy woman sneaked in while everyone was busy... the rock weighs over one kilogram and enough to make us unconscious if we're hit by it in the head! Because of this experience, I will not watch evening news while the door is open. Maybe uninvited guest will sneak in again and attack us. Neopets Stock MarketMonday, June 20, 2005Randy and I started trading on neostocks since ten days ago inspired by my eldest son's news that he made 20,000 NP profit when he sold his shares which he purchased earlier for 500 NP only. Neopets Stock Market allows us to buy up to a maximum of 1000 shares a day and I only buy stocks between 15 NP and 19 NP per share. I still do not know which ones are profitable but, this is my NeoStocks Portfolio: ![]() Someone told me that it takes Neopoints to make neopoints and winning 5 Chest in the Black Pawkeet Slot two weeks ago made expensive codestones more affordable. My pet has amazing stats now and still going up every four hours. Here is my account details with The National Neopian Bank (I wish it's real money): Account Type : Millionaire Mega-Platinum This interest rate means that you will gain 472 NP per day! Earning 472 NP a day is too small compared with the profits I will gain if I will invest on stocks. Too bad I didn't do it with my real money. I'm not comfortable with the local companies here in the country. Anyway, I'm glad playing online games keep my mind off from the recent wire tapping scandal...

Wire Tapping ScandalWednesday, June 15, 2005In behalf of the Filipino people, I'm hereby asking GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO to please tell us whether it was her voice on the tape as GMA7's 24 Oras and Inquirer.net reported: ![]() PAMPANGA Representative Juan Miguel "Mikey" Arroyo, the elder son of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, yesterday took a leave of absence for an indefinite period amid the raging Jueteng' scandal, I was wondering if the president would initiate the same assuming it was the President on the wire tapped CD recording. ![]() CALLS have mounted for President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to publicly declare if it is indeed her voice that is on a supposed tape about alleged fraud in the May 2004 elections, or the issue will remain a ticking bomb for her. ![]() Hello Garci CDs had been given away for free in Baclaran area to passersby. Holder of the CDs were invited in Police Station later. Related stories and opinions:
"Hello, Garci" ringtone and jokes are spreading fast between cellphone users. I do believe it was the voice of the president, based on the online Debate poll I submitted on June 9th. So? Everyone heard the president cheated in the last May 2004 Election. What are we going to do now? Is there a syndicate running the Philippine government? Where are the intelligent poeple in this country? Treasure ChestTuesday, June 07, 2005While I was busy awarding prizes to winners of our recently held Blogshares Premium upgrade promo, I hit 5 treasure chest in Black Pawkeet slots and win my first 500,000 NP. My virtual pet will be delighted to attend her training in the Mystery Island. ![]()

Back To SchoolPaul Denise shifted from BSCS (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science) to BSIT (Bachelor of Science in Information Technology) today and he sought my authorization due to strict implementation of school authorities against students from changing courses almost every semester without their parents approval. Thanks, God. Paul Denise is now enrolled. Sweety is still completing her TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) requirements after she got AA+ in her admission test. She will not continue her studies in the University of the East. She's supposed to have her medical today but she's not feeling well. For the past couple of weeks, she tried her best to find a job both local and abroad but she found herself still too young to get the job she wanted. It had been an issue in the household who should follow who but since she's already 21 and knows what she wants, I assured her that I just want the best for her and I'll be here for her... Plushie TycoonWednesday, June 01, 2005Finally, I'm now a Neopets Plushie Tycoon (PT) champion ranking 56th (out of 400 tycoons) with 3,425,673 NP (neopoints, Neopets local currency) profit in May's Plushie Tycoon game winning 100,000 NP plus PT champion trophy. Plushie Tycoon is a game that takes a month to play before we could finally get our NP prize. The game runs from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with time zone preference conveniently based on time availability. We buy materials, start jobs, hire personnel, ship plushies from warehouse to the store, and sell plushies with 50,000 NP capital given at the start of the game. We also pay for the rents of factory, warehouse, and store (including advertising and store upgrade). And, oh! The tax man visited me every 6th days and taxed me once in the amount of 4,394 NP (8%). I had less than 50,000 NP whenever tax man came to see if I was making profits, or should I say, I avoided paying taxes by keeping lower NP on hand. In April, 57,490 neoplayers tried the game but, only 370 tycoons made it at the end of the game. It does not give that much neopoints compared with time invested but, the game itself is addictive and this is where I hang out in neopets site everyday. Here is the prize we get for playing the game:
If you are bored and idle, would you like to try the Plushie Tycoon challenge? Here are useful links that will guide you throughout the game: I am not sure whether I will play this game this month. Kids will be busy in school and vacation is over, no more late nights for all of us. ![]() Others believe Neopets games are for kids only. I cannot blame them because it took me 4 months before I finally registered a Neopet account with interest in Black Pawkeet and Brucey B slots, who wants a virtual pet, anyway? However. as I explore the game further, I ended up sending my pet to a training school to increase her level, strength, defence, speed and endurance using codestones and dubloon coins. I had no intention to have a fighting pet but she later fought in One Player BattleDome (BD) and won 140 out of 142 (98.59%). Playing puzzle and action games everyday is a must to earn and save more neopoints. Laila13413 the Yellow Wocky Whether I'm making sense playing online games or not, one thing I didn't like most is to be idle.
