Where Am I Today?

Sunday, July 31, 2005

Most of my online friends wondered why I seldom blog like I used to.

I had some personal reasons for not blogging lately, not to mention that my blog archives kept growing. In the event I will have a change of heart and decide to discontinue using the net, what am I going to do with my blog? Do I have to keep paying for its web hosting fees monthly? These were common questions bothering me lately but, I must do something to slow down the time.

Since I became a netizen in November 1997, I couldn't believe I have wasted so much time avoiding the real world by sitting in front of my PC chatting and playing online games. Now that I am turning obese due to inactive lifestyle, I am caught in a limbo and a decision has to be made soon.

Whenever I am online, I didn't feel how time flies so quickly... I must admit I placed myself in a cyber space that made me occupied for nothing. What have I done for the past 8 years? Ugh... kids? Are they enough reason to be a dedicated mother? Am I dumb spending our bank savings until to the last cent before I will wake up that I must work also to support our daily needs? Life is great with us... yes, for now. And, I have 12 months to decide whether to drop this addiction to a more meaningful, active life!

Where am I today? I'm still sitting here in the privacy of my cold, dark room playing online games waiting for someone to love, wishing for something better to do and something real to hope for...

OST

Thursday, July 28, 2005

More and more Pinoys were asking me if I have the sound tracks of their favorite telenovelas broadcast over GMA7. I found a good site where you can get your favorite Full House, All About Eve, or Stairway to Heaven sound tracks. You may download OST from Faces of the Moon.

And, for Winter Sonata OST mp3 download, visit korean/ost-winter sonata.

Enjoy!

TESDA Scholarship

Tuesday, July 26, 2005

My daughter was fortunate enough to be selected by International Bizarre Foundation today, a TESDA Women's Center sponsor. She will be given some allowances from July until December this year, taking up General Automotive Mechanic Course.

It's against my will when she decided to stop taking up her Engineering Course at the University of the East but, since she's old enough to do what she wants, I'll be on her side to support her in all her endeavours.

Meanwhile, while my daughter understands fully the situation of our finances, my Paul Denise had been giving me so much headache this month. His attitude made me upset lately.

Few days ago, in the middle of my sleep, I woke up grasping my breath. I wasn't worried about myself but had thought of the kids. I uttered a short prayer that may God protect me from any harm and that, I may need a longer life to watch over my kids' welfare...

Meuka

Friday, July 22, 2005

I finally accomplished Neopet's Defenders of Neopia Mission 4 - Meuka Attacks and posted some tips how to get Meuka to fight in the Battledome.

This is the usual question being asked by Neoplayers who just completed Defenders of Neopia Mission 3. Two months of waiting had passed (after Mission 3) and yet, Meuka is still at large. By googling sites, I realized some players who were playing Neopets as early as 2001 haven't found Meuka yet as a Battledome challenger until to this date so, I decided to hunt for it. Besides, I had beaten The Brain Tree (Mission 5) and Commander Garoo (Mission 6) couple of times but couldn't claim my Mission rewards until I am done with Meuka.

So? How I did Mission 4 - Meuka Attacks? Please follow these steps patiently...

United to Oust GMA

Wednesday, July 13, 2005

In the midst of a political storm that hits the Philippines, some 40,000 Filipino patriots from all walks of life gathered and rallied on Tuesday in Makati City, the country's financial district, and asked the arrogant president to quit her post.

Anti-Arroyo Rally in Makati

In spite of efforts made by Arroyo's military men preventing protesters from different provinces in coming down to Manila to join the rally in guise of security and terrorism check, the anti-GMA rally in Makati turned out peacefully, many thanks to Mayor Binay!

SUSAN ROCES: "I am here, just as I promised, that if you go to the streets, I will join you."

SUSAN ROCES: "If we bring together our small voices, it will be strong... With God's help, we will solve our problems through peaceful means."

People from all sectors believe it is best for the country if she will have the initiative to resign soon than face the long expensive process of impeachment. Enough that the 'president' caused division among us. And, if it is true that she cheated in the 2004 Presidential Election, that means she's a fake president (as allegedly shouted by rallyist in the streets) then, what's keeping her staying in Malacañang and allow her to use all government resources and people at her own advantage?

This is not a one-woman show. Many believe it was former president RAMOS who is now running the country while GLORIA herself is busy with loyalty checks among her contituents visiting her in Malacañang (upon invitation?). The people who once supported and installed her to presidency in January 2001 were the same people asking her to step down.

No to CHA-CHA

Tuesday, July 12, 2005

In politics, there is truly no permanent friends nor enemies, only personal interest.

In fact, I was dismayed when 17 Representatives of several political parties agreed to push for a constituent assembly during a political conference at the Manila Hotel chaired by House Speaker Jose de Venecia. TARGET: Revision of the Constitution!

Amending the constitution in the middle of the moral and political crisis involving the president of the Philippines is definitely taking advantage of the situation. We have this crisis because of the recent GloriaGate scandal that rocks Malacañang Palace, including the revival of the Jose Pidal issue (involving the First Gentleman and his brother, Iggy) and Jueteng Payola (involving president's son and Iggy) that allegedly connect with the 2004 Presidential Election Fraud.

Our leaders are not solving the problems of this country. We have enough laws, all we have to do is punish those who breaks it.

I therefore SAY NO TO CHA-CHA (Charter Change)...

GMA - RESIGN NOW!

I entered my email addy to support a petition by Moral Majority of the Filipino People in asking GMA to RESIGN NOW after I watched the GMA7's 24 Oras evening news. To give your support, please visit Save the Republic - GMA Resign Now.

Being a legitimate voter of this land, I feel my vote in the 2004 Presidential Election was maliciously not honored and so, this is my voice of disappointment. Lest, let the whole world know that I cannot tolerate the further dictatorship of Ramos-De Venecia-Gloria tandem.

Delicadeza

Friday, July 08, 2005

More political and influential groups, including the Senate President, Makati Business Club, and former President Corazon Aquino, are calling for the resignation of GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO as a supreme sacrifice for the greater welfare of the country.

Corazon Aquino's Call

Few political allies are still blindly supporting Arroyo while 59 percent of the Filipino people believe she told the election official to cheat based on SWS survey held recently. I believe, like many others, that she cheated the presidency not once but twice.

Anti-Arroyo Rally in Makati

If PGMA has delicadeza, she should step down and make a graceful exit. Ten of her cabinet members submitted their irrevocable resignation today.

Meanwhile, former President Ramos finds an opportunity to propose charter change to amend the constitution to change the current presidential system to parliamentary which I believe is not a good idea as those traditional politicians will totally control this country... I firmly believe Ramos has always had a hand in governing this country.
