:: Aerobic Workout Update

Wednesday, September 21, 2005

Today is my tenth day doing The Firm Aerobic Workout with Weights, vol. 2. by Janet Jones. I started using 5 lbs. dumb bells this time, as well as 3 lbs., as part of my workout.

For the past couple of days, I was enduring a left knee sore but, I didn't give up. Motivated by getting back a stunning figure I had before, I won't allow laziness get into the way.

I stopped eating rice and drinking colas. I drink tomato juice and water in between hunger. Three months ago, I was tempted to try fad diet like South Beach Diet but, they're too expensive. With strong will power and discipline, I can look better without spending a penny. My sister and children suggested joining a slimming group but, I prefer to do my aerobic workout in the privacy of my home at the time most convenient for me.

I did it before, I can do it again... with my fingers crossed!

:: LoveStruck

Wednesday, September 14, 2005

Since three weeks ago, mother told me she wanted to watch Lovestruck. And today, we watched it in SM City North Edsa Cinema 3, along with my sisters, Pacita (who is celebrating her birthday today) and Rosita (who will celebrate her birthday on the 17th); and, Ana (wife of my brother, Egay) and her daughter Trisha.

The movie is a Comedy / Romance, rated GP, directed by Louie Ignacio under GMA Films, starring StarStruck talents: Mark Herras, Jennylyn Mercado, Yasmien Kurdi, Rainier Castillo, Mike Tan, Ryza Cenon, LJ Reyes, CJ Muere, with special participation of Allan K, Keempee De Leon and the movie's Love Guru, Jolina Magdangal.

After watching the movie, we had a little hard time which restaurant to go and what to eat until I decided that we should take noodles, a traditional practice to eat in any birthdays, for long life. Mother suggested Chow King but, I want a different place this time for a change. Super Bowl of China has new dishes to offer and we tried their Birthday Noodles, Hunan Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken Hot Pot, Hunan Tofu Hot Pot, and Yung Chow Fried Rice. We occupied a round table for ten people. Daughter and Arianne later joined us. All of us enjoyed their delicious dishes and I was thankful they do delivery, Tel. No. 7378888.

I was supposed to do some grocery shopping but, it was late for all of us. Mother had fun seeing her daughters get together and I wish there will be more days like this again...kind of SisterStruck!

:: Aerobic Workout

Today is my second day doing The Firm Aerobic Workout with Weights, vol. 2. by Janet Jones.

I'm looking for something to do while the kids are in school other than playing online games. It's a 65 minutes workout and I'm glad I completed the exercise this afternoon using 3 lbs. dumb bells. I had difficulty yesterday doing the second part of the exercise and had to stop because I was grasping my breath.

Hopefully, this will put me back in shape before Christmas and I need some discipline watching what I eat.

:: World Challenge

Monday, September 12, 2005

I found a new fun way of playing Neopets games by entering in the World Challenge! Aside from earning the usual 3,000 NP for submitting 3 high scores per game, top 3 players get each one prize succeeding neopoints plus a picture piece.

High Score for the hour wins a picture piece! Requirement: minimum 5 players.

Players in the top 3 ranking win a picture piece for their World Challenge Gallery! Requirement: minimum of 3 scores sent and a Rating greater than 0 and a minimum of 5 players required in order to win prizes.

In less than a month, I became a Neopian Mega-Riches depositor with nearly four million neopoints savings! I sold picture pieces in my neoshop between 16000 NP and 23000 NP per piece. Each picture has 20 pieces so imagine the profits I will collect from each piece? Before World Challenge, sending my pet to a training school made my savings drop close to 300,000 NP. I decided to discontinue her training and concentrate instead saving some million neopoints. Also, I gave up playing Plushie Tycoon game this month to concentrate well in the World Challenge (Sorry, friends, this is the reason why you never see me online lately on IMs).

I have completed the following pictures (the missing pieces are in my neoshop to allow one space free in case I win another piece):

See the World Challenge Scores I made.

Being a fast and aggressive player with the mastery skill in ToyBox Escape levels made it easier for me to play Moon Rock Rampage at the same time. Waiting for neopets to get into the box was a bit boring so I made use of extra seconds to do Moon Rock Rampage.

Now, "How many wins can you get playing any Neopets games in 57 minutes against random opponents?" To beat me in the World Challenge, you must have a Neopets account.
