:: Dental treatment

Friday, March 31, 2006

I sent the kids for dental treatment at Queen Mary Polyclinic located just behind SM Mega Mall. Due to their rush schedule, only Junjun and Tintin were accomodated and they have to go back on April 5 at 2:30 p.m. and on April 8 at 5 p.m. Pearl's wisdom tooth needs to be extracted but it cost dearly to do so.

Meanwhile, Paul Denise gave us all a hard time. He refused to go and went to school instead to pay his remedial class. His class will start on Monday, April 3rd.

:: Black Pawkeet Slots

Do you know why i love playing Neopets's Black Pawkeet slots aside from hoping that I would hit one day (or night?) its grand jackpot? It's my outlet whenever I had hard time with the kids!

My Fifth 501,850 NP
I won 501,850 neopoints when I hit 5 chest on March 6th!

My Sixth 500,850 NP
And I hit again another 5 chest this evening!

NEOBANK DETAILS:
Account Type : Ultimate Riches!
Current Balance : 10,771,719 NP
Ultimate Riches! Interest Rate : 12.5% per year
Yearly Interest : 1,346,464 NP

This interest rate means that you will gain 3,689 NP per day (it's rounded up)!

:: Incomplete Grades

Thursday, March 30, 2006

Paul Denise didn't come home last night since he left in the afternoon to follow up his remedial class in Physics.

When he showed me yesterday a note from STI College about his fair and incomplete grades, I exploded with anger.

Three years ago, he told me he wanted to continue his studies and would take it seriously. When I sold our house in April 2004, I sent him and Pearl to college. Pearl did well with the TESDA Automotive course she had chosen and Paul Denise, although intelligent in class, missed going to school due to addiction to online games! I advised him to take afternoon class but he insisted to get morning class because all his close friends were in the morning class, too.

Almost every night, I had to tell him to go to bed and in the morning, I had to wake him up and reminded him to go to school. My son will be 25 on May 3rd and yet, I feel he doesn't have any ambtition in life, except being my son!

I feel so lost and a failure as a mother when it comes to him..

:: Case II: Summon Served

Tuesday, March 28, 2006

Atty. R sent me a message thru SMS that summon for Case II was personally served on March 21st, based on transmittal she received from Montalban RTC.

The respondent has until the 5th of April to submit his reply.

:: First Communion

Sunday, March 26, 2006

I had a wonderful sleep, woke up on time and attended Sunday mass with mother. We're slow going down the stairs due to my knee injury. Everyone's ready for the mass when we arrived but, I lighted three candles first before taking my seat.

Today is the 4th Sunday of Lent and FR. Rocco Viviano said the mass again in Tagalog using Sambuhay's missalette: Tagumpay Niya mula sa Krus. Gladly, I received my first communion (this year) after I had my confession last Sunday.

Today's LITURGY OF THE WORD (pasensya na at wala akong english copy):

:: Knee Support

Saturday, March 25, 2006

Knee Supporrt

Pearl, Junjun, and I went to Cyberzone and paid utility bills. Then, Junjun had his passport size photos with Kamera World for his passport renewal on Monday while Pearl and I went to the basement of SM Department store and bought circular lamp for Pearl's room.

Enduring a knee injury, Pearl bought me Airprene open knee support. I was all sweating and feeling uncomfortable and I decided to do our grocery shopping by Monday, when Tintin will have her day off because I wasn't feeling well...

As soon as we arrived home, I wear this knee support immediately. It aids stiffness and braces my knee for better movement. Guess I will wear this when I attend Sunday mass tomorrow. Kneeling is not advisable for those knee injury sufferers but, I will light a candle tomorrow and ask God to help me get rid of this knee injury sooner before Randy comes back to me in April!

:: When You Tell Me that You Love Me

Thursday, March 23, 2006

This song is lovingly dedicated to Randy...

WHEN YOU TELL ME THAT YOU LOVE ME (Diana Ross)

I wanna call the stars down from the sky
I wanna live a day that never dies
I wanna change the world only for you
All the impossible I wanna do

I wanna hold you close under the rain
I wanna kiss your smile and feel the pain
I know what's beautiful looking at you
In a world of lies you are the truth

And baby
Everytime you touch me I become a hero
I'll make you safe no matter where you are
And bring you everything you ask for
Nothing is above me
I'm shining like a candle in the dark
When you tell me that you love me

I wanna make you see just what I was
Show you the loneliness and what it does
You walked into my life to stop my tears
Everything's easy now I have you here

And baby
Everytime you touch me I become a hero
I'll make you safe no matter where you are
And bring you everything you ask for
Nothing is above me
I'm shining like a candle in the dark
When you tell me that you love me

In a world without you I would always hunger
All I need is your love to make me stronger

Everytime you touch me I become a hero
I'll make you safe no matter where you are
And bring you everything you ask for
Nothing is above me
I'm shining like a candle in the dark
When you tell me that you love me

You love me
When you tell me that you love me

:: What's that red spots for?

Wednesday, March 22, 2006

Few days ago, Paul Denise and I were talking about his remedial class when he noticed the red spots in clustrmaps.com while I was checking my total stats. When I told him that it's the location of my blog's visitors, my son couldn't believe there are people visiting my site!

Today, I received email from ClustrMaps Support Team asking me to adjust daily updates to weekly:

"The current number of displayed visits to your site is 10948 which exceeds our internally applied database limit of 10000 for daily updates with yearly archives. We have therefore amended the frequency of your map updates to: weekly."

The ClustrMaps Support Team also mentioned:

"Please visit http://clustrmaps.com/admin/ to change frequency of updates and archives, and be sure to check the FAQ page for further explanations."

As I logged in to my ClustrMaps Admin page, I have noticed that they are offering contest and giving away a free ClustrMaps+ upgrade. Well, I find it fun and challenging if I will submit an entry to be featured as ClustrMaps User Of The Month, so I could get more attention from those ClustrMaps users who didn't know I exist here on cyberspace...

I have rewritten my entry due to power failure. The first one was better than this but, I was upset they disappeared as I logged back online!

ClustrMaps is best displayed at the bottom of my blog's SEARCH field to show off locations of readers visiting it. When there is something new in the blogosphere, I made sure I had an account with them to boost my blog's presence. If you didn't see one type of blogging tools displayed in my site, chances are, I didn't like the quality and type of their service!

Most of my site visitors get new ideas from me. And I will appreciate if you could award us referral points just like what blogexplosion.com provide. Also, sitemeter displays IP addresses when I mouse over the location of site visitor. Do you think you can provide the same? When I first saw your clustrmaps image, I had an impression that you're somehow related to sitemeter due to similarities of map display.

Many thanks and more power to all people behind Clustrmaps! I don't mind if you will make me famous by quoting my URL, nick name, and story.

As I emailed my entry to feedback @ clustrmaps.com, I remembered when my son came closer to the monitor and asked out of curiosity why dots are bigger than others. I told him it indicates more people are visiting my blog in that particular location. Half convinced, he asked me, "What do they want from your site?" I just smiled and told him, "They love to make red dots in ClustrMaps bigger!

:: Case I: Hearing Schedule

Tuesday, March 21, 2006

Atty. R informed me through SMS that PRE-TRIAL Hearing for Case I, Declaration of Nullity of Marriage pursuant to Art. 35 (4) in relation to Art. 42 of the Family Code, is set at 8:30 am, RTC Branch XX on Wedneday, May 10th! Order for Collusion Investigation had been cancelled because the respondent submitted a reply.

Meanwhile, we are awaiting transmittal of the summon from Montalban RTC for Case II. I wish God will make these legal proceedings easier for us...

:: Knee Injury

Monday, March 20, 2006

After ten days of bad fall in the bath room, I had been enduring another knee pain but, this time, it was more painful than what I had in September 2005. I had that previous knee injury from doing my workout while this time, it is from the fall and prolonged sitting in front of the computer!

I was feeling guilty for having an inactive lifestyle. Even if I want to do my workout, there's always a valid reason prevented me to do it, just like this time. When I was doing my workout last year, I developed some skin allergies in my thighs and my skin became sensitive from the tights I used for my workout. Now that I want to tone muscles and shape up a little bit, here comes the knee injury.

While I know lack of regular exercise and walking habits probably made my knees weaker, going out for a walk or window shopping is not my cup of tea. The Web MD's Coping With Knee Pain link Randy provided me gives me enlightenment how to deal with knee injury at home!

Meanwhile, while blogging this entry, PLDT messenger buzzed my unit and asked me to go down to get the bill. Daughter and I waved him to go up but, he shouted, "Why you didn't like to go down?"

Furious, I went downstairs limping and I whispered to him, "I have left knee injury this is why I cannot go down." Then he presented me the bill and I acknowledged the mail. He gave me my copy after tearing the attached note i signed. Puzzled, I asked what is that for and he told me it was a disconnection notice!

In my anger, I didn't know how I went upstairs. I hurriedly checked my check book but, there was no payment made last month. I remember paying some bills in cash last month to beat their due dates. And what gets to my nerve? The demand letter was delivered late too. I have to pay my telphone and DSL today or get service interruption! I have something to complain again with the owner of the building. Their maintenance boys were lazy to deliver the mails to the right unit.

Guess I have severe headache now than knee injury.... (mother never told me there will be days like this... gasp...)!

:: 3rd Sunday of Lent

Sunday, March 19, 2006

Even though I woke up at 6 a.m. this morning, mother and I were late for Sunday mass. The chapel was already full and we had our seat near the entrance.

Today is the 3rd Sunday of Lent amd FR. Rocco Viviano said the mass again in Tagalog using Sambuhay's missalette: Tanda ng Kapangyarihan ng Diyos. Fr. Viviano said that this Lenten season, we should reflect on God's existence by honoring and accepting God's words. God provided us all what we need yet, we never feel contented and in fact, have taken all things for granted.

I had a confession right after the mass. My last confession was in 2003!

Today's LITURGY OF THE WORD (pasensya na at wala akong english copy):

ACT OF CONTRITION:

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven, and the pains of hell; but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life.

Amen.

ACT OF PENANCE:

Fr. Viviano asked me to recite one (1) Our Father and to offer 10 mins. of silence everyday while listening to God's message. Since I recite the rosary first thing in the morning (everyday), I had thought I will do it right after my morning prayer.

I was wondering whether you are ready to reflect on God's existence? Please try to accept God's love by opening your heart, too! Guess what, next Sunday, I am ready for communion.

:: Case II: Summon

Thursday, March 16, 2006

Pacette obtained new copy of my birth record from NSO this morning with yellow security paper (secpa) but, unfortunately, the copy she received didn't have the notation of corrected entry I made in 2003. As advised by my counsel, I instructed her to go back to NSO Legal Office and advised Pacette that they will release the annotated copy on the 23rd of this month. They denied receiving the Finality copy mailed to their office three years ago. This upsets me that human errors could ruin my documents someday.

Pacette submitted the copy of my original birth certificate with green secpa this afternoon as requested by my counsel for Case III. She also picked up the two petitions for Case II and III , along with the REPLY from Abdulelah's counsel. As expected, the EX fabricated lies but, he failed to make me angry. In fact, I feel sorry for him. Maybe EX can lie to all but, not in his heart and conscience! Actually, he doesn't need to submit a reply and leave things as they happened but, court will not tolerate collusion between respondent and petitioner so I remained quiet about it. My counsel advised me not to communicate with the respondent.

Service of Summon for Case II had been received in Montalban and their sheriff will serve it either today or tomorrow

:: Ides of March

Wednesday, March 15, 2006

Today is the Ides of March and I'd like to take this opportunity to inform the regular readers of this blog that my online game buddy and best friend, Randy, is my man and soul mate too!

Randy and I met each other on March 1st 2004 in an unusual dispute over stocks in BlogShares Fantasy Stock Market. This kind-hearted man impressed me with his gaming strategies until we played as a team not only in BlogShares but, also in Neopets! We've done many things together as a team like being the top 5 BlogShares Richest players in 2005, held successful eBay auctions, supported Save-A-Child charity, made some million neopoints from Neopets' World Challenge games, NeoStocks, Neoquests, Plushie Tycoon and Black Pawkeet slots. Lately, when his wife filed a divorce in August 2005, he slowed down from playing our favorite games and even was hospitalized last year from overdose. That time, I was preparing myself to work abroad and renewed my passport. When his wife decided to spend the Christmas somewhere else, we decided to meet in person to celebrate 2005 Christmas before I leave the country for work! And that's how we turned as lovers and prefer to go further as soul mates now that he's a free man from his previous marriage. He didn't like me to work abroad and he wanted instead to correct the mess in my life from previous relationships. While it's amazing that married women in the USA profited from their divorces by getting half of their men's networth, the women in my country normally get nothing but misery and burden of supporting kids. Anyway, Randy is my best friend and hopefully, the best man in my life, too!

And since we met in BlogShares, we held a mission to express our appreciation to BlogShares Community and we want this to be a very remarkable day in BlogShares history by awarding these BS Mission #788's prizes to:

Thank you for your BS Mission #788 participation and looking forward to future missions Randy and I will offer. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any suggestions.

Congratulations to the winners! And, more power to Island Dave for supporting this mission!

Ides comes from Latin idus, probably from an Etruscan word meaning "division" of a month.

:: Judgment of Dissolution

Randy sent me this morning the scanned copy of Judgment of Dissolution he obtained from the San Diego Superior Court, dated 13th March 2006, effective date of termination of marital or domestic partnership status.

Meanwhile, my counsel received the REPLY copy mailed to her by EX's counsel from Iligan City last Friday I'm still awaiting for Case I PRE-TRIAL Investigation. Someone told me that EX was in Saudi Arabia to attend his eldest son's wedding. I wonder who will receive the invitation if he's not in the country? Sigh. I also wonder why I have to suffer going through with the Nullity of the Marriage I never had.

For Case II, hopefully, summon will be served anytime this week and for Case III, am awaiting order for publication which might start next week.

:: Wonderful World

Tuesday, March 14, 2006

Since we moved here in Quezon City two years ago, this is my first time to see a rainbow overlooking from the balcony. It's such an impressive sight as it fades away when it started to rain heavily...

Colour My World

And I had thought about God and what does a rainbow signifies while I was contemplating about the wonderful news I heard from Randy this morning... God is indeed a God of promises!

And I had thought to myself, what a wonderful world!

I see trees that are green, red roses too
I watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself, oh what a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of the people passing by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
But they're really saying I love you.

:: Timed Out

Monday, March 13, 2006

Please accept my apology for the inconvenience brought about by the inaccessibility of this site lately.

Ploghost, my webhosting provider, had one client on their server that used an insecure Wordpress plugin that causes the server to trash and freeze. They took some time to identify it and remove from the system. A Support Ticket #2779 has been closed and reopened couple of times because they were unable to fix the problem immediately.

Hopefully, this blog is fully accessible now and back online for your reading pleasure.

:: 2nd Sunday of Lent

Sunday, March 12, 2006

Mother took about 30 mins. waking me up before I finally get up. Although I didn't sleep enough, I had deep and wonderful sleep because my children are all staying with me again. As we hurriedly went downstairs to a nearby chapel, I was surprised the place was a bit crowded this morning and some people occupied already the fourth row of seat where we used to take our seat for the past couple of weeks now. I lighted three candles and whispered some prayers...

Today is the 2nd Sunday of Lent. FR. Rocco Viviano, an Italian Xaverian priest, who seemed to be our regular priest for the past three weeks. He said the mass again in Tagalog using Sambuhay's missalette: Ito ang Minamahal Kong Anak. Fr. Viviano mentioned about transfiguration, the purpose of our journey in this world, and the importance of the Lenten season in our Christian lives.

Speaking of Sambuhay missalette, I was upset that St. Pauls website (Philippine-Macau Province) with a heading description of "Our Commitment is Integral Evangelization" restricted Sambuhay's English and Tagalog versions with login name and passwords before anyone can access their online Sambuhay missalette guide. Is the life really hard these days that we have to pay to access the words of God? In that case, why put commitment in integral evangelization on their front page if only those who can pay can access the missalette?

While Randy provided me some links to support the reference links of the Liturgy of the Word last Sunday, I still believe that I should use the Sambuhay's missalette guide links since those were the ones being used by our local churches here. Even if I will subscribe to their yearly subscriptions, the regular readers of my blog won't be able to open the links either... The one I have is in Tagalog.

Today's LITURGY OF THE WORD:

:: Bad Fall

Friday, March 10, 2006

I was taking my morning shower when daughter knocked at the door couple of times telling me the owner of the building was looking for me. As I stopped the shower, I opened the door and told her to ask what Mrs. Garcia wanted. When I walked to continue my shower, I slipped and had a bad fall. It was a painful one and I had spent about 2 minutes before I managed to get up and rinse the remaining shampoo off my hair.

Although I was limping and had upper back pain, I did some grocery shopping with Junjun and Tintin later in the afternoon. Unfortunately, when we arrived home, my two sons had misunderstandings caused by Tintin. I had to fix the goods in 20 plastic bags by myself and just then I felt again severe back and left knee pains. In spite of that, I was able to cook fried Tilapia and Pinakbet for dinner.

Glad mother arrived late this evening and she gave me good massage. Thank you, Mama, for the unconditional love and care....

:: Women's Day

Wednesday, March 08, 2006

We're getting ready for grocery shopping this afternoon when a heavy downpour of rain upset the kids and decided not to go. Nervous, I went to bed to get some nap but, they're too noisy playing PS II games so I went downstairs to a nearby Beauty Parlor, I trim my bangs and treated myself a foot spa with pedicure.

Today is International Women's Day. To all women out there, have yourself a wonderful day. It's our day and make the most out of it.

:: Welcome Home, Junjun!

Monday, March 06, 2006

My eldest son arrived at 1635 HRS this afternoon via CX 919 from Saudi Arabia! Tintin and I picked him up at the airport after series of text messages about his flight details and status. He finished his two years employment contract there and knows how to speak Arabic now.

His siblings were joyful upon seeing their big brother. They stayed up late playing Junjun's newly brought electronic toys. The rest of his luggage will be delivered on Friday!

I'm so happy my three children are united again!

And, oh! Many thanks to Randy for sending Welcome eCard to Junjun, as well as the Double Chocolate Curl Ice Cream Cake ordered from FILGIFTS!

:: Ist Sunday of Lent

Sunday, March 05, 2006

In spite of going to bed late last night, I woke up at five and took a shower. We arrived in the Sto. Niño Chapel just on time and I lighted three candles just before the mass started.

Today is the 1st Sunday of Lent. FR. Rocco Viviano, an Italian Xaverian priest, said the mass again in Tagalog using Sambuhay's missalette: Kaayusan at Biyaya sa Gitna ng Kalituhan at Kaguluhan.

"What we do during this Lenten season, essential to Lent is our resolve to begin anew to realize that we are people of the New and Everlasting Covenant in Christ's Blood."*

Today's LITURGY OF THE WORD:

ON FAST AND ABSTINENCE
Catholics age 14 and older abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and all Fridays during Lent. Also on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, Catholics from age 18-59 fast by limiting themselves to one full meal and two smaller meals on those days.*

:: Bb. Pilipinas 2006

It's past midnight but, I patiently watched Bb. Pilipinas 2006 Coronation night until they announced the winners. Glad I was still awake when my son called me via overseas call from Saudi Arabia.

BB. Pilipinas 2006 Winners

I'd like to congratulate Bb. Pilipinas 2006 winners, namely:

Bb. Pilipinas - Miss International 2006: #9, Denille Lou Valmonte
Bb. Pilipinas - Miss Universe 2006: #17, Lia Andrea Ramos
Bb. Pilipinas - Miss World 2006: #20, Anna Maris Igpit
Ist Runner-up: #11, Rosalyn Santiago
2nd Runner-up: #21, Jeanne Bernadette Bello

:: Level of Happiness

Saturday, March 04, 2006

Some people find unequal happiness by either doing good to others or hurting them or by just simply delaying people to move on and be happy.

Galatians 6:7 (King James Version): "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

On this Season of Lent, let's examine our hearts... for it's the best place where we can find true happiness.

:: BS MIssion #788

Thursday, March 02, 2006

We understood that many among BlogShares players want to join our BS contest but, didn't know well what to do. Randy explained it on his blog and you can visit archived BlogShares category in my blog, too, to get more idea.

Randy and I used to be on the top 5 Richest BS players before the November 2005 devaluation of all players holdings. Your entry should contain previous game play we made (since two years ago) as well as how we ranked, the addiction we dedicated to the game, the auctions that benefitted me, and the cooperative game strategies that made me one of the BS Elites, based on Mars' recommendation!

May the above tips guide you through. Good luck!!!

:: Smart Multi-line SIM

Wednesday, March 01, 2006

Tintin and I went to Smart Wireless Center at SM North EDSA and picked up my Smart multi-line SIM card, integrating my latest prepaid SIM and lost SIM card. I could get up to 5 lines - all active at the same time. Each line is able to receive calls and messages even when a different one is in use. Changing SIM cards, to me, was boring.

Earlier, we passed by at Our Lady of Hope Parish in Bagong Pag-asa for Ash Wednesday service. Fr. Alex Jerus said the mass. He reminded us that faithfuls should not be limited to prayers alone but also should observe fasting, abstinence, and charitable acts on this particular day. Well, soul mate told me to fast but, since I took cough medication at 4 a.m., I was unable to do it. Perhaps on First Friday?

:: Happy Anniversary!

My soul mate used to give me Blue Mountain eCards every morning upon I logged online. Today, I received a different eCard: sending me bunches of LOVE... and, a long measure of joy... for many more years of sunshine in our happy nest followed by a box of Chocolates and 2 dozen of red roses from islandrose.net!

Anniversary flowers

My dearest soul mate! Thank you for being there for me always!
