:: My Son Left Home

Wednesday, May 31, 2006

I was upset when my Paul Denise wants to have two weeks vacation in Ate Neth's house after finishing his remedial class in Physics.

When I asked him why, he said he just want to spend time with his cousin, Jojo, who will leave to Saudi Arabia, along with his father, to work for a kind prince in the Palace. He packed some canned goods and clothes plus some cash. Paul Denise, like Randy, doesn't like to eat fish and mother used to cook fish and vegetables in Ate Neth's house.

Before Paul Denise left with Christine, his girl friend, I asked him again the reason why he wants to stay there in my sister's house. He said he cannot play R.O.S.E. (Rush On Seven Episodes) because we do not have DSL!

When I talked with Mama over the phone to check the condition of my son later in the evening, she told me a funny thing. She said, Jojo, in return, was bugging his mother so he can spend some days vacation here at home because he loves to do videoke before finally leaving for work... ahhhhh, kids!!!

Meanwhile, my problem with PLDT DSL continue... am still using dial up! I called PLDT 172 Hotline couple of times and reminded them that I was paying my bill on time and they do not have any reason to deny or delay the DSL service I subscribed with them. The evidence of inconvenience brought by this deteriorating subscriber line (DSL) was evident when my son, Paul Denise, left home!

:: I hate my ISP

Tuesday, May 30, 2006

Hatred is a sin but what can I do? There is nothing annoying than paying a PLDT DSL Subscription Plan myDSL XCEL with a promise of 2 mbps bandwidth speed upgrade and I didn't get it, and worse, since my account had been upgraded last 19th of this month, my agony with my DSL broadband internet started. Who will believe that my bandwidth speed was only 4 kbps most of the time, just enough to connect me to Yahoo chat? I cannot retrieve my mails nor browse pages without using PLDT VIBE dialup internet. PLDT DSL has been a nightmare to all its affected subscribers!

Meanwhile, due to bad internet connection, I was unable to collect my Neopets freebies and Neobank interests. Also, I failed to buy ideas in Blogshares and carry out my usual trading in the shares market. Hopelessly staring at the monitor screen hoping DSL bandwidth speed will restore its normal speed I paid for, I created »-(¯`v* NEAT Strategies *v´¯)-», a Blogshares corporation I founded to recruit BS players who wish to team up with good players who want nothing but a neat gaming strategies without hurting other players. Loading pages had been a painful task but, I managed to add it to the corporations founded by other BS players.

Am waiting for Randy to come online, and he will be upset again since we cannot use SKYPE to voice chat with each other. I missed watching Deal or No Deal this afternoon because PLDT DSL is a Deteriorated Subscriber Line.

:: X-Men

Sunday, May 28, 2006

Randy and I had a great time trading in Blogshares due to uninterrupted DSL internet connections. I just wish PLDT DSL will give us now the right broadband speed based on our corresponding subscription plan although I was wondering why I haven't experienced yet the promised 2 mbps upgrade.

After Randy logged out in the afternoon, the kids, Tintin, and I attended the 5:00 o'clock afternoon mass at Our Lady of Hope Parish. Today is the Seventh Sunday of Easter, a celebration of the Ascension of the Lord and the 40th Feast Anniversary of Our Lady of Hope. Rev. Fr. Sonny Merida said the mass today. The First Reading was Acts 1:15-17, 20a, 20c-26 and Second Reading was 1 Jn 4:11-16.

When the mass ended, the kids and I went to the mall to watch X-Men but, when they started smelling the food from the different Fast Foods in the mall, we decided to eat in the Food Court located in the basement of the mall. I bought some from Bodhi Vegetarian Restaurant while the kids got their orders from Jollibee.

When we satisfied our hunger, we watched X-men, The Last Stand in Cinema 1. I never watch X-men and if kids didn't explained to me the previous stories of X-men, I will never understand what I was watching.

When the kids and I arrived home, we're disappointed that we didn't have DSL internet again.

:: Good News?

Saturday, May 27, 2006

I found out from Ate Neth that her husband, Boyet, and her son, Jojo, are leaving soon to Saudi Arabia to work for Prince Sultan Ibn Abdullah.

She said the EX helped her get a good employer for them.

:: Mt Everest Summiteers

Thursday, May 25, 2006

I would like to congratulate the first three Filipino Mountaineers in conquering the Mt. Everest Summit.

  • Heracleo "Leo" Oracion, 32, first Filipino who conquered the Mt. Everest (South Side), on the 17th of May at 3:30 pm local time. Leo was supported by ABS-CBN TV network and various groups.
  • Erwin "Pastor" Emata, 33, second Filipino who reached the Mt. Everest summit on May 18th, without the aid of oxygen.
  • Romi Garduce, 37, the third Filipino who conquered the Mt. Everest summit on May 19th. Romi was sponsored by GMA 7 and various groups.

GMA 7's 24 Oras evening news reported that certification from the Ministry of Information in Nepal, expedition photos and confirmation from the Everest Expert Elizabeth Hawley will prove who among these three Filipinos reached the Mt. Everest summit first as some were confused whether Leo Oracion was the first one who conquered the summit.

Ang Pinoy talaga eh parang hindi na madaling magtiwala... bakit kaya?

:: PinoyDSL

Wednesday, May 24, 2006

I logged in using dial up internet early in the morning so that Randy and I can recite the rosary online before our connections deteriorated due to more number of people coming online.

Curious what's going on with DSL subsribers, I googled PLDT DSL keyword and I found interesting links and stories. I also registered with PinoyDSL.Net this morning, a Philippine DSL Network Forum which is maintained by several DSL subsribers. The site is designed for Philippine DSL users and subscribers with the idea of helping fellow DSL users with DSL problems, questions and optimize its usage to the fullest SINCE my ISP, PLDT DSL, neglected their subscribers to provide uninterrupted broadband internet service.

Based on what other subscribers' experiences posted in the forum, accounts and passwords were sold by some PLDT DSL crews. It's alarming and made me worried that someone had been using my DSL account and password this is why my connection dropped to 4 kbps or was it the PLDT Data Center really had technical trouble with their network? Besides, I have doubts that the best skilled engineers had been deployed outside the country and the less skilled people are the ones working for local companies. Six days of no internet access means denial of service...

What's funny with the PLDT DSL ads, it says "At Rocket speeds, PLDT DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) gives you fast and reliable 'always-on' connectivity. Guess they should re-edit their site and rephrase rocket speed with zero speed. In fact, their 172 Hotline was busy all the time and I'm at lost whether to get a new DSL from Bayantel or stick with PLDT who failed to give me DSL broadband internet service for six days now? Rowela is waiting for my call so they can pick up the Application Form she sent last Monday through LBC.

Only in the Philippines this is happening... I sent a complaint through email addressed to NTC but, I was wondering whether they will consider it or just send my email to trash folder. Media is our last hope.

:: Dead PLDT DSL

Tuesday, May 23, 2006

My communication with Randy had been affected severely because of my ISP problem. I cannot even play in Blogshares and Neopets, too, and I had lost opportunity to gain some B$ and neopoints this evening.

PLDT DSL's hotline has been busy continually and I am at a loss on whether to get a new DSL service from Bayantel or stay with PLDT, even though they have failed to give me the service they promised for five days now. I already talked to the owner of the building. Since each unit was provided with a single phone line conduit, I will have to buy the telephone cable myself if I subscribe to another phone company, Bayantel. We already established our contact telephone number and we wouldn't give it up, just the DSL, if possible.

Meanwhile, Randy told me an alarming news before he logged out to work. He said that the Veterans Administration reported that one employee decided to take home a bunch of disks for a project he or she was working on and had them stolen in a home robbery. Randy was worried that all his personal informations, including security number, benifits, and credit card details will be stolen or sold.

And as soon as Randy logged out, my PLDT DSL broadband internet turned totally dead, and it affects nationwide subscribers now! Kids were bored and played PS2 games instead after I sang few karaoke songs.

Ah! Mother never told me there will be uneasy days like these...

:: Case III: Collusion Investigation

Monday, May 22, 2006

I had a bad morning, as usual, because this is the fourth day that I didn't have DSL internet. I had to use PLDT VIBE dial up internet access to chat with Randy on yahoo and retrieve my mails because even I can logged in to my ISP server, the packets sent and received were below 5,000 in five hours period.

Anyway, I logged out at 1:50 pm and went to RTC Bldg., with Pearl. I met my counsel and she briefed me before meeting the Fiscal assigned to investigate me for Collusion. We debated on some matters because she said I had to lie on one question if ever I was asked about it. Telling the truth is not all the time important in the court. They want you to tell things that is within their allowed rules or my counsel will be questioned for not teaching me the right way of talking to them.

We went to second floor (RTC BLDG) and paid PHP 500 for Fiscal fee. We then went to the fourth floor where we met the Fiscal. Four people were ahead of us and we're the last one accomodated. Unlike in the court rooms, Fiscal's office has air-conditioning and I feel better even I was nervous. So far, the investigation wasn't that difficult but just asked me questions related to contents of the petition we submitted.

After we paid PHP 300 for mailing fee, my counsel advised me not to disclose any information online on what happened with the hearing because annulment case should be kept private while the case is on-going.

I paid my counsel her appearance fee and she reminded me that our next meeting will be on June 14th, for Case II, the correction of my birth records.

:: Family Day

Sunday, May 21, 2006

Early in the morning, the technician from PLDT arrived and I explained well to him how my agony started and showed him the DSL packet received and sent, he realized that the problem wasn't on my side but from their Data Center. He said they are going to call me once they brought back their regular DSL internet.

When the kids were up, I had an accident when I was preparing breakfast for Mama and the kids. The harsh brown potatoes, hot dog, cheese omelette and ham were almost done when I accidentally burned myself. Due to shock, I threw the ham back to the pan and hot oil scattered around the burner caught fire until it reached to the pan. I calmly turned off the burner and washed my left arm with cold water. It hurts and I told Randy about it as I went back to our chat.

Randy was not happy about what's going on with my internet. Our chat dropped each time someone called my kids. I had to reconnect the PLDT VIBE again and again just to run the programs Randy and I were using. He's upset we couldn't watch our favorite TV shows together and I couldn't buy all the shares from him. He logged out early to give way for me to get ready.

Before the kids and I left for the Sunday mass, I created BLOGSHARES MISSION #871 - SHARES MARKET SABOTEURS. I will give 100 chips per entry for every one player's artefacts' transaction history they will submit and Randy will give ONE (1) BLOGSHARES PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP to the top submitter... click here to join!

Then, we left to Our Lady of Hope Parish, to hear the 5:00 pm mass. The kids and I were fortunate to be seated in the last row near the church's entrance. Today is the 6th Sunday of Easter and the Guest Priest from Malaysia said the mass. The First Reading was Acts 10:25-26, 34-35, 44-48, the Second Reading was 1 Jn 4:7-10 and the Gospel, Jn 15:9-17, Jesus said to his disciples: "As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love..."

In my heart, I was happy seeing my children attending Sunday mass with me. And, I wished that Randy's with us praying the Our Father. As the mass ended, we went straight to SM Bowling Center but, the kids decided to eat our dinner at Super Bowl of China where we had Fried Crispy Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Sliced Beef with Broccoli, Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet, Birthday Noodles, and 3 orders of Super Bowl Fried Rice. They served their dishes so yummy that we emptied all plates. We're too full to play Bowling so we cancelled it off our schedule. All we wanted was to go home and rest.

At home, the DSL internet upsets me again. I had to use PLDT VIBE dialup internet to chat with Randy before he left to work. There were some entries submitted in my mission but, I couldn't verify them yet because I had very, very, very poor internet speed.

:: Up to 2 mbps?

Saturday, May 20, 2006

I used PLDT VIBE dialup internet early this morning to recite the rosary with Randy since we cannot talk well on SKYPE using my PLDT DSL broadband internet. Furious with interrupted chat with him, I called PLDT 171 and found out from Edna that my account has been upgraded yesterday morning up to 2 mbps EXACTLY the same time my internet agony started.

Based on my email transactions, I sent them three emails today at 8:43 AM, 12:48 PM, and 9:37 PM just to let them know I was on PLDT VIBE dialup internet because my DSL internet speed was only 4 kbps. I was sure that their Data Center made a mistake and they promised to send a technician to us tomorrow.

Ate Neth referred me to Rowela of Bayantel. Rowela said she will send me the Application Form for DSL internet. It will cost me PHP 1,999 for installation fee and PHP 3,000 monthly for both 1.5 mbps DSL internet and phone charges.

Randy was upset and had been wishing I could have the same speed of his internet as I had been complaining I couldn't do anything with the blogs' shares I held even I know someone was trying to slump its price before HTO. I cannot retrieve my emails, cannot run skype in the evening and I was wondering what's going on with PLDT DSL and how many subscribers are currently suffering like me.

:: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VERA

Friday, May 19, 2006

After Randy and I recited the rosary and exchanged blogs' shares ownership, my PLDT DSL broadband internet suddenly disconnected all running programs at 9:45 am and when I was connected again, I realized broadband speed went down to 4 kbps only.

SKYPE and Yahoo kept dropping and I instructed the kids that I will use our telephone line to connect to the net using a dialup, PLDT VIBE internet. I missed watching our favorite TV shows (in San Diego) and we spent our time together reconnecting our programs. Everytime there was an incoming call, my connection with Randy dropped.

Desperate that we couldn't use SKYPE to talk and I had to leave soon to attend Vera's 51st birthday party, Randy went to bed. Glad Pearl accompanied me because taxi dropped us only up to MRT-North EDSA. I was wondering why most of them didn't like to go to the area of Makati especially today that there's heavy traffic. I bought two PHP 100 worth of ticket and we stopped by at SM Mall-Makati and got Vera an elegant white spaghetti blouse with blazer. We went to the fourth floor and had spent about 15 minutes more waiting for the item to be gift-wrapped. Taking a cab in Makati is a big inconvenience especially during rush hours. I hate falling in line. We're fortunate to get one along EDSA and we headed to Vera's mother's restaurant.

As soon as we arrived, they started serving the food right after Father Jessie blessed the foods. Most of Vera's best friends, school mates, and CWL sisters were there. Most of them are golden girls and senior citizens. I guess I was the youngest among her visitors (except Pearl). Most of them looked familiar. I often saw them when I was attending masses in National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians Parish. We lived in Parañaque for about sixteen years but I had been active only doing church service when I parted with Abdulelah in 1997.

Anyway, time ran so fast. We hurriedly left at past 8 so that Vera can accomodate more visitors. We're unlucky to get an honest taxi driver and we used MRT to go home. I received a chikka message from Randy that he will be going to work since I was still on MRT, near the last station. When I arrived home and went online, he just logged out based from the last message I received from him.

Speaking of Vera, she's been my best friend for ten years now. She came into our life just like an angel. When I parted ways from my EX, all family members, acquaintances, and friends sided with Abdulelah. I secluded myself until Vera became closer to me. She's the wife of our Homeowner's Association president and I was then the secretary in 1997. We teamed up in initiating cleanliness drive in our area and she later assisted me in going back to God. One time I remembered she dropped by to the house and she invited me to attend the evening mass. I was drowsy and had taken sleeping pills. She helped me to the bath tub because I can hardly walk. She patiently devoted her time enlightening me that I must move on for the sake of the kids. Almost everyday, we walked only going to the church, and heard the six o'clock mass. I then slowly learned how to do novena, sing praises to God, and pray the rosary (again). Vera is well-loved and very kind woman. She never complained when people asked for help. Her family helped us when everyone turned their backs on us. I am very lucky to have someone like her, as my best friend.

Vera, Happy 51st Birthday! We love you!

:: Case II: First Hearing

Wednesday, May 17, 2006

Randy and I recited the rosary first before Pearl and I left to the Regional Trial Court at 8:00 o'clock in the morning...

At the court room, the place was already full and the presiding judge had over 20 cases to hear. Our case is the 10th in the Court Calendar. Both my counsel and I appeared. My counsel requested the Court for the markings of the documentary exhibits to prove compliance with the jurisdictional requirements of the petition. Accordingly, the documents were marked as exhibits.

The Judge directed the Civil Registry and Office of the Solicitor General to file their Comment within ten (10) days from today. Continuation of the hearing is on June 14, 2006 at 8:30am.

After the hearing, I paid my counsel her appearance fee and she told me our next meeting will be on May 22 at 2:00 pm before my scheduled Case III's Collusion Investigation with the Fiscal at 2:40 pm.

As soon as I arrived home, I reported with Randy what has happened and we played BlogShares again.

:: Case III: Subpoena

Tuesday, May 16, 2006

I found an exciting way to buy shares of top blogs when I turned ON alerts of top 150 blogs to watch. Each time someone sells or buys, I received an alert of the transaction and I can buy the shares by pressuring the public or restructure the shares (which I will pay three times of its value).

Both Randy and I had fun exchanging blog's shares ownerships after the 6 hour period is over. The game is so addicting we barely noticed the time.

As soon as he logged out and I became busy in the kitchen, I received a subpoena for Case III's Collusion Investigation on May 22 at 2:40 pm. I have a hearing to attend tomorrow and I hope I will finish these cases the earliest time possible.

:: Give them my number

Monday, May 15, 2006

I informed my counsel early this morning about what the EX did when he invited my brother to a meeting with him along with his lawyer. As they want me to blah blah blah about our marriage contract in court, Atty. R advised me to give her contact number instead.

When Nasser called me again in the afternoon, I gave him the contact details of my lawyer and told him not to talk with my EX about me again but, talk to my lawyer instead.

:: Mother's Day

Sunday, May 14, 2006

Although I received couple of greetings from my sibling and started the morning by reciting the rosary with Randy, I still had a bad morning.

I found out from Nasser that the EX let him read the document the EX's lawyer will submit on the 27th of July. My temper rises when I found out the respondent's lawyer will also push for annulment on our meeting, the Trial Conference. I'm afraid the case I filed in court will be dismissed in case EX made stupid things like favoring for the nullity of the falsified marriage. If they are not contesting, why they kept responding to court invitations? I yelled at my brother to stop talking about me and the case. I just wish my brother will not sell me on this one...

Anyway, after Randy and I logged out at 3 pm, we got ready for the church. The kids, Mama, Tintin, and I sitted on the fifth row seat. We do not have afternoon mass in the nearby chapel so we went to Our Lady of Hope Parish, near SM North Edsa. Fr. Emmanuel Bollari said the mass. The homily was about God, being the vine, and the faithful as the branches. There were times we have to trim off the bad branches and prune the good ones so it will bear better fruit. I was delighted seeing my children attending mass with me.

After the mass, we had dinner at Pizza Hut. We had fun even though Mama's sandal had broken strap, similar to what happened with mine last week. She got a new pair of sandals before we left the mall.

Anyway, siblings, close friends, and high school mates exchanged Mother's Day greetings with me while Mama got an eCard from Randy. Vera, my best friend, greeted me being the strongest mother in this world!

:: Junjun Enrolled

Saturday, May 13, 2006

Junjun's vacation is over and yet, I didn't liked him to go back to work in Saudi Arabia.

To make him busy, he enrolled today in STI taking up a 2 yr course in Computer & Electronics Technician. I wish I could choose a better course for him but he's so much interested in computer stuffs.

:: Disappointed

While RWO and I wish to see more players playing unlimited transactions by giving away more Blogshares premium memberships from time to time, I was disappointed recently seeing this gaming community has taken over by rude members who mean not to play this game but, to drive away other players from playing. They won't drop you a line, they will just buzzed up industries to increase PE or slump it to drop share's price. The action wasn't made by two players, more were involved. They won't let you gain any profits, in fact, they will drop prices to make you lose your investments.

Many thanks to those who spent their artefacts to buzz industries that caused my shares' PEs went up as much as 2k and made me impossible to sell my holdings. I was just wondering how many among these gang players have multiple accounts and how many players have stayed away from playing because of this group.

To DJ SWA whose account is currently suspended, I fully understand why you have been rude lately with those mean players... there's nothing like that in 2004 since I started playing in Blogshares. I want to play to relax from pressures which the three cases brought me, and yet, there were many unfriendly people out there.

Anyway, Randy and I watched some of San Diego's local TV shows instead.

:: Nasser Called

Friday, May 12, 2006

I had an afternoon nap right after Randy logged out to bed but, I was awakened by my brother's call.

According to him, both Abdulelah (Nasser's employer) and his counsel talked to him about me several times. They attempted to get informations from him regarding the Nullity of Marriage I filed against my EX. I had thought Nasser was calling to inform me he's going to pay me his loaned money but I was only annoyed when I found out the EX wanted me to blah blah blah in court about the falsification of our marriage contract. Furious, I warned Nasser to advise his employer not to contact me again nor ask any informations from my side as far as the case is concerned because the court will not allow respondent and petitioner for collusion, as the case might be dismissed. EX was stupid enough to hire a lawyer wherein he doesn't need one if he is not interested to contest the case I filed against him. He better use his money to pay his agent's salaries and related expenses in advance.

It was not my intention to involve the EX in this case but, since the court needs the other party to be properly informed, I had to execute my affidavit narrating the facts about the past. If I could only do this all by myself, I prefer not to exchange allegations with the EX because he's just putting himself cheap in my eyes. Besides, his lies might be used against him and he might involve Leila Baque, too, who was the one who knows everything about the said marriage contract. Two years ago, Leila was jailed in Hong Kong for falsification of passport and immigration stamps of her alleged travels. Pretending to be innocent will not do him any good.

I told Nasser that it's enough that I had been cheated and it's so unfair that I'm paying for something I had nothing to do with it.

You owe me, Abdulelah!

:: To Catch a Predator

Thursday, May 11, 2006

As usual, we played in Blogshares but when Andika HTO the 4000 shares I held in IlBlog di Beppe Grillo, I stopped playing and watched Deal or No Deal and Dateline NBC's To Catch a Predator instead with Randy. Chris Hansen noted in his live blog that:

"It is without a doubt the most elaborate undercover house we’re ever had. 13 hidden cameras record every move our visitors (sex predators) make, from the moment they drive down the street, until they come face to face with me (Hansen) and then, later are arrested by Ft. Myers police after leaving the house."

Wish the local TV network here in the country will do the same coverage to safeguard online teens from being victimized by perverts.

:: Case I: Pre-Trial

Wednesday, May 10, 2006

Before Pearl and I left to the Regional Trial Court (RTC) in the morning, Randy and I prayed and recited the rosary first.

We had difficulty getting a cab but, thankfully, we arrived on time. The taxi driver was smart enough to take a shorter route. As we entered the court room, we waited for couple of minutes until the Presiding Judge appeared and we all stood up to start the court proceedings.

My case is the 10th in the Court Calendar. Both petitioner and counsel appeared. Only respondent's counsel showed up but clothed with a Special Power of Attorney authorizing him to represent respondent in the Pre-trial Conference. Respondent's counsel manifested that the marriage contract is a falsified document which my counsel objected to: The truth of the matter are those alleged in the Petition. The Presiding Judge ordered that the Pre-trial is terminated and scheduled the next hearing on July 27, 2006 at 8:30am for the initial presentation of petitioner's evidence. This means that I will take the witness stand on said date subject to cross-examination of respondent's counsel and the Assistant City Prosecutor, counsel for the State.

When we're done in the court room, I found out from my counsel that the judge has an official leave in June that's why the next hearing will be in July. Anyway, for that brief conference, I paid my counsel her appearance fee.

Randy was surprised that I came back home after two hours, he's very pleased that the case is moving but was annoyed by the stupidity of Abdulelah's counsel.

:: Missing shares

Tuesday, May 09, 2006

I was upset last night because I had lost a lot when SubWolf did make one minor change to the general SQL query structure while I was buying some shares in over 500 blogs under Randy Sell folder. Because of what happened, I stayed away from buying shares and dedicated my time instead reviewing and reindexing blogs.

:: Case I: Affidavit

Monday, May 08, 2006

Randy and I were busy in the morning voting dead blogs to remove them off our portfolios when I received an urgent message from our counsel. My Affidavit should be signed at 3 pm today.

While waiting, I reindexed some blogs. Both Randy and I had fun buying ideas produced by industries after blogs were reindexed. The only thing we watched on TV (via Yahoo webcam and Skype) was Deal or No Deal. I was lazy to leave but, no one will do the signing in my behalf, as I have to do it myself.

Pearl accompanied me when I signed my Affidavit this afternoon. I was told it will be submitted prior to the scheduled Case I PRE-TRIAL Conference on Wednesday. Then, we did some grocery shopping first before going home. The boys were not around and we're forced to carry the goods upstairs. I still have a little knee sore and avoid lifting heavy things as much as possible to avoid further pains.

Anyway, I had an afternoon nap as soon as we arrived home. I had sleepless nights lately maybe because I was feeling bad about the previous lousy men in my life and also I worry a lot what stupidity EX will do on the scheduled PRE-TRIAL on May 10.

:: Happy Sto Cristo Feast Day

Sunday, May 07, 2006

I missed the early morning mass. I stayed up late clearing my Blogshares portfolio and exchanging blogs with Randy.

To keep blogs' shares down, I had to buy whatever Randy sells and after 6 hours, I can sell them back to him. But due to time differences and availability. we can do it only during weekend. On weekdays, we should be both online because he's working and does not have time to do the trading in the morning on his side.

Anyway, Mama and I attended the special 5:00 o'clock mass in a nearby Chapel. The theme was the Cross: The Way to Follow Jesus. The chapel was not as crowded as in morning mass. Maybe not too many people know that there's a special afternoon mass held today. FR. Raul Buen, a Filipino priest, said the mass. There's procession after the mass but, I had to do some grocery shopping with the kids. They closed the street and we walked a little bit to get a cab. The carousel carrying the statue of Mama Mary was approaching the church accompanied by a band while playing their musical instruments. I didn't see what happened next because we got a cab and left.

In Cyberzone, I paid Smart bill, and then went to Abenson to follow Junjun and Tintin. I was already inside the store when my right sandal's buckle gave up. It was embarassing to sit down with a broken sandal's strap. Junjun and Tintin had difficulty choosing the sandals that will fit me. Pearl forgot her cellphone and cannot find me so she went home instead. After 45 minutes of waiting, Junjun got me a new pair of brown sandals but I cancelled the shopping. I didn't like brown sandals and it was a bit smaller for me.

On our way home, the procession passed us. Near the building where we live, some Barangay tanod didn't allow us to enter the area they blocked for the Feast celebration. I got off from the cab and blah blah blah to them. They let us pass while the rest of the cars rerouted. My alibi? I had sore feet from my new sandals and I couldn't walk any further...

We had a better view of the feast celebration from the balcony. They fired up series of firecrackers. I didn't watch the rest of the program because Randy is already online...

HAPPY FEAST DAY!

:: BlogShares Composite Scores

Saturday, May 06, 2006

Now that Randy is actively trading stocks in Blogshares again, I was motivated to do the clearing of blogs off my folder. Unfortunately, I just couldn't sell shares I held without reindexing those blogs which I purchased way back in 2004! Most of them were dead blogs.

We're too damn busy to watch TV shows other than Deal or No Deal. Both Randy and I gained some sigma points when we reported dead or spam blogs. He then ranks 21st while I am the top 3 player in Blogshares' Overall Composite Score. We're not the top wealthiest players now and I still do not understand how they do the scoring other than they noted that players are ranked in each category, and awarded points based on the formula: points = 101 - $rank.

:: Case II: May 22 Hearing

Thursday, May 04, 2006

As usual, I had oatmeal for breakfast and Randy had Lasagna after we recited the rosary.

We did some Neopets and Blogshares update until we run Yahoo webcam. We watched House's Euphoria, part 2, Dr. Foreman faces death and they put him in a coma to ease the pain. Dr. House discovered contaminated water outside patient's home (who earlier died of unknown disease) as the source of the infection. It wasn't clear what happened with Foreman as he's still paralyzed when the episode ended. Well, we watched Criminal Minds and Law and Order, too, before watching NBC's late night evening news.

When Randy logged out, I received a text message from Atty. R. Case II Hearing Schedule is on May 22nd at 2:40 pm for Collusion Investigation.

In the evening as I was watching the GMA 7's 24 Oras evening news, I heard that three separate fires damaged properties in Metro Manila today. That reminds me about my discussion with Randy before he went to bed, we were discussing about Mina (a.k.a. Shelly), a well-loved index manager in BlogShares. In her blog, a friend noted that, "In the early morning hours of Sunday, April 30th, a massive fire broke out in the family home. Her sons were not in the home, as they were visiting their father. Shelly was home alone, asleep at the time."

We posted earlier a candle in Sage's Mission: Mina where I made a mistake posting my BS profile under that mission. Gladly, Island Dave was online and he removed immediately my profile off the mission page. It was embarassing though but, I had too many windows and tabs open that time and I got distracted which form I pasted my profile. Anyway, I hope Shelley will overcome the difficulties and trials she's having lately... may God bless us all!

So far, am happy that the three cases I filed last February will have it's respective hearings scheduled this month.

:: Happy Birthday, Denise!

Wednesday, May 03, 2006

First of all, I want to greet my son, Paul Denise, a Happy 25th Birthday!

Early this morning, Randy and I recited the rosary first before eating breakfast. I had oatmeal mixed with chocolait milk while he had Beef Pot Pie with ice cream cone and soda for dinner.

We watched Fox's House today excitedly. Euphoria has two episodes where Dr. Foreman exhibits the same symptoms as thier patient with uncontrollable laughter and tomorrow's episode, the medical team decides whether to perform a brain biopsy on Foreman as he faces death. We watched also CBS's NCIS and NBC's Law and Order Special Victims Unit.

Randy logged out at past three. He knew that we're going to watch M-I-III starring Tom Cruise but Paul Denise was too slow and seemed not interested. We argued a little bit and I almost postponed treating the kids out to a movie. To neutralize my temper, we went instead to SM Bowling Center at 5 p.m. Pearl and Denise teamed up against Junjun and Tintin. They played two rounds but Denise's team won. Only two successful strikes were made by Pearl and Junjun. It was first time for Tintin to play.

I hurriedly asked the kids to eat in the mall because I want to go home before 8:30 in the evening. We're arguing where to eat, whether we will do it in Super Bowl of China, Shakey's Pizza, or Pizza Hut until we passed by in a Family Karaoke. Denise had been asking me to try the place since last year and after knowing the cover charge and room rates per hour, we got our place and I sang one song, kids were too slow selecting their songs. I got 77 score with a note that I can go home, the kids laughed at the message. With a sad face, I stood up and pretended leaving. But, as I went out of the room, I ordered the food but were disappointed with the food and beverages available. Everything I asked were out of stock. I was uncomfortable and wanted to leave but, I didn't like to spoil the evening. As they served the food, kids alternately sang their numbers. We barely noticed we've been there for almost two hours until they informed us whether we like to extend for another hour. We had enough sore throats. Besides, I need to be home before Randy logs in back online.

Kids had fun but, were unhappy with the food and extra charges they added to the bill. To satisfy them, we take out some food from Jollibee before going home. While waiting for a cab, I prayed and wished my Paul Denise a nice future, full awareness about life, and a productive year ahead.

Happy Birthday, Denise!

:: Doing Things Together

Tuesday, May 02, 2006

I had a long, deep sleep last night knowing Randy arrived home safely yesterday!

Randy and I recited the rosary first thing in the morning (when I woke up) and we had eaten our meals at the same time, I had oatmeal while Randy had Beef Ravioli and ice cream cone as desert. We made it a habit to say blessings before meals.

Then, we played Moon Rock while waiting for Deal or no Deal to come on. Randy had fun watching Penn and Teller's Bullshit and I was surprised they didn't filter the vulgar words being used there. After collecting my Neopets freebies, I stayed in bed instead to relax my knee and we watched together Deal or no Deal, 24, and Medium. Then, we watched the eleven o'clock news before Randy went to bed at 3:18 pm.

I made myself busy doing household chores until I went back online in the evening while waiting for Randy to go online at 9:00 pm. He had deep sleep and unable to adapt easily to his usual schedule. When he logged out for work, I stayed awhile and watched Jewel in the Palace before going to bed.

Randy makes my life complete and I love doing things with him together, regardless of 7401 miles distance between us.

:: Missing Randy

Monday, May 01, 2006

When I got up at 7 am this morning, I had been awake since 2 am. I couldn't sleep at all. I was wondering how's Randy's trip and I decided to send him copy of our prayers by email so he can print it when he arrive home.

As soon as I finished from the shower, I recited the rosary alone. I terribly missed his presence because I got used doing things with Randy. Although I made myself busy doing laundry while cleaning the house, I feel a part of me was missing.

I only feel better when I received a Chikka text message from Randy at 1:11 pm. We chatted on Yahoo a litte bit until I hooked up the USB mic he gave me and rested in bed while Skype talking with him. My knee is bothering me and I had to stay away from sitting infront of the computer for a long time. When he logged out to sleep, that's how I rested well.

Pearl awakened me when Randy went back online at 9:12 pm to say hello before going to work. We talked on Skype once again and I went back to sleep when he logged out at 9:42 pm.
