Today, I made 6,966 points, the highest score I reached playing Biscuit Brigade: Hagan's Last Stand Guide (HARD Difficulty)... well, eerrr... I am still way behind those kids who play better than me but, I love to share the following tips to those who cannot even achieve 2k points.

TIPS:
To achieve more points, break unnecessary towers down for parts couple of seconds before wave 20 ends.
Make experiments with you towers. The lesser the tower, the higher the score.

Randy sent payment to PlogHost XOOM account, for ladylaila.net's Custom Plan 1G webhosting package (PlogHost Invoice #4185) from 01/13/2007 thru 01/13/2008, in the amount of US$ 186.00 (US$11.00 service fee included). That's US$ 175.00, a total of Php 8,400.00: Php 7,500 for one year site webhosting plus Php 900.00 (12% TAX)!

Three years ago, I just started with Plan 75 but in less than a month, my site had been inaccessible due to bandwidth overload. Next thing I did, I upgraded my plan to the next level but, the site suffered the same inconveniences until I ended up with a Custom Plan 1G to meet bandwidth and server load needs.

Less than two months ago, I paid the amount of Php 2,016.00 (PlogHost Invoice #4022) on Nov. 20, 2006, for ladylaila.net's Domain Renewal Fee for 3 years, covering the period 12/13/2006 thru 12/12/2009.

Meanwhile, the internet is so bad today that I couldn't watch Judge Judy, two episodes of NCIS, and Shark via Skype due to intermittent internet connection caused by Taiwan earthquake.

However, the slow connection didn't stopped us from voice chatting on Skype and we even played some of our favorite online games together. I gained some picture pieces from the World Challenge and converted 4 picture gallery which I collected from Moon Rock Rampage, Toybox Escape, Typing Terror, and Web of Vernax. The latter game didn't award me any picture pieces even if I won a picture piece. According to The Neopets Team (TNT) custom message: "It looks you have collected all the pieces for the picture(s) in the world that this game is set in or have not converted the completed picture yet, so no piece has been awarded." So, I had thought to convert all the 4 picture gallery, that's a total of 80 picture pieces and each one could be sold in my neoshop for 25,000 NP each, that's approximately about 2 Million Neopoints. Upon converting the pictures, I got 8,000 NP plus Striped Paint Brush, Brown Paint Brush, Usuki Paint Brush, and Mutant Petpet Paint Brush, which would give me a total of less than a million NP if I want to auction them.

Anyway, in spite of our enjoyment playing online games, I was wondering how much ladylaila.net webhosting package (and domain fee, too) would cost us in the next five years... many thanks to Randy for his continuous support to this blog, otherwise, I probably shut this down and/or move this blog to a public server.

First of all, HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY to all! I had cabbage and corned beef for dinner. Randy has Irish blood and he told me it is okay to eat meat this Friday because of St. Patrick's Day. He told me also to wear green... mmmmmm....

I finished Neoquest II - Insane Difficulty at 8:45:13 am NST, 15 November 2005 but, failed to get my random BD weapon prize due to a glitch in inventory page with this ERROR : Could not retrieve the list of items that are currently available.

It made me really upset considering I played the game for about a month. I wrote TNT about this but, do I have a chance to get the random item?

Randy got his Bow of Destiny after beating Insane Difficulty, which is worth between 3.7M and 4M. I posted the above message in Neopets Board so that TNT would do something about it.

Whenever I was upset about something, playing Black Pawkeet slots had been a good outlet for me. It's a Neopet's game of chance and luck. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. But, it helps me unwind some stress.

Tonight, although I didn't get the grand jackpot, I won about 750,000 NP by hitting 5 chest once while 4 stacks of gold and 4 chest twice.

I found a new fun way of playing Neopets games by entering in the World Challenge! Aside from earning the usual 3,000 NP for submitting 3 high scores per game, top 3 players get each one prize succeeding neopoints plus a picture piece.

High Score for the hour wins a picture piece! Requirement: minimum 5 players.

Players in the top 3 ranking win a picture piece for their World Challenge Gallery! Requirement: minimum of 3 scores sent and a Rating greater than 0 and a minimum of 5 players required in order to win prizes.

In less than a month, I became a Neopian Mega-Riches depositor with nearly four million neopoints savings! I sold picture pieces in my neoshop between 16000 NP and 23000 NP per piece. Each picture has 20 pieces so imagine the profits I will collect from each piece? Before World Challenge, sending my pet to a training school made my savings drop close to 300,000 NP. I decided to discontinue her training and concentrate instead saving some million neopoints. Also, I gave up playing Plushie Tycoon game this month to concentrate well in the World Challenge (Sorry, friends, this is the reason why you never see me online lately on IMs).

Being a fast and aggressive player with the mastery skill in ToyBox Escape levels made it easier for me to play Moon Rock Rampage at the same time. Waiting for neopets to get into the box was a bit boring so I made use of extra seconds to do Moon Rock Rampage.

The July game of Plushie Tycoon is now over.

After playing for 5 months, I placed 46th in the July Plushie Tycoon competition out of top 400 Tycoons, earned 100,000 NP prize and now a Plushie Tycoon Grandmaster with total score of 5,103 Points or 5,103,869 NP Profits.

There are 621 Tycoons in July out of 129,798 players who joined the competition while June's game had 548 tycoons out of 98,451 participants!

I finally accomplished Neopet's Defenders of Neopia Mission 4 - Meuka Attacks and posted some tips how to get Meuka to fight in the Battledome.

This is the usual question being asked by Neoplayers who just completed Defenders of Neopia Mission 3. Two months of waiting had passed (after Mission 3) and yet, Meuka is still at large. By googling sites, I realized some players who were playing Neopets as early as 2001 haven't found Meuka yet as a Battledome challenger until to this date so, I decided to hunt for it. Besides, I had beaten The Brain Tree (Mission 5) and Commander Garoo (Mission 6) couple of times but couldn't claim my Mission rewards until I am done with Meuka.

So? How I did Mission 4 - Meuka Attacks? Please follow these steps patiently...

Randy and I started trading on neostocks since ten days ago inspired by my eldest son's news that he made 20,000 NP profit when he sold his shares which he purchased earlier for 500 NP only.

Neopets Stock Market allows us to buy up to a maximum of 1000 shares a day and I only buy stocks between 15 NP and 19 NP per share. I still do not know which ones are profitable but, this is my NeoStocks Portfolio:

Someone told me that it takes Neopoints to make neopoints and winning 5 Chest in the Black Pawkeet Slot two weeks ago made expensive codestones more affordable. My pet has amazing stats now and still going up every four hours.

Finally, I'm now a Neopets Plushie Tycoon (PT) champion ranking 56th (out of 400 tycoons) with 3,425,673 NP (neopoints, Neopets local currency) profit in May's Plushie Tycoon game winning 100,000 NP plus PT champion trophy.

Plushie Tycoon is a game that takes a month to play before we could finally get our NP prize. The game runs from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with time zone preference conveniently based on time availability. We buy materials, start jobs, hire personnel, ship plushies from warehouse to the store, and sell plushies with 50,000 NP capital given at the start of the game. We also pay for the rents of factory, warehouse, and store (including advertising and store upgrade). And, oh! The tax man visited me every 6th days and taxed me once in the amount of 4,394 NP (8%). I had less than 50,000 NP whenever tax man came to see if I was making profits, or should I say, I avoided paying taxes by keeping lower NP on hand.

In April, 57,490 neoplayers tried the game but, only 370 tycoons made it at the end of the game. It does not give that much neopoints compared with time invested but, the game itself is addictive and this is where I hang out in neopets site everyday. Here is the prize we get for playing the game:

I am not sure whether I will play this game this month. Kids will be busy in school and vacation is over, no more late nights for all of us.

Others believe Neopets games are for kids only. I cannot blame them because it took me 4 months before I finally registered a Neopet account with interest in Black Pawkeet and Brucey B slots, who wants a virtual pet, anyway? However. as I explore the game further, I ended up sending my pet to a training school to increase her level, strength, defence, speed and endurance using codestones and dubloon coins. I had no intention to have a fighting pet but she later fought in One Player BattleDome (BD) and won 140 out of 142 (98.59%). Playing puzzle and action games everyday is a must to earn and save more neopoints.

When my virtual pet got stuck in Mystery Island Training School when my vo codestone disappeared off my item's list, it took me about two months before I was able to send my pet back to study. Codestones are harder to buy so since I collected couple of dubloon coins from Pawkeet slots machine, I decided to transfer my pet to Cap'n Threelegs' Swashbuckling Academy where she will complete her courses up to level 40 using one, two and five dubloons.

Randy told me today about the COLTZAN'S SHRINE, where my pet can visit once a day to increase her level up by 1 point for FREE. He also told me about the FREEBIES link earlier where I can get free items and neopoints once a month.

Exploring and playing Neopets games had taken most of my free time lately and tonight, I was so excited when I almost hit the 2144824 Neopoints Jackpot at Black Pawkeet Slots! I knew I would win it because I kept winning 5 jewels, rubies, tankard, and grog but, my connection to Neopets server kept dropping until Shockwave Director had an error and my Mozilla browser crashed.

When I signed up last month, I was given 250 Neopoints (NPs). Neopoints (NP) is the local currency in Neopian World as BlogShares Dollars (B$) is the local currency in BlogShares.

Upon signing, I fed my pet which made her bloated and I didn't know I have to send her to a training school. I went immediately to the Game Room and tried my luck/chance at Scorchy Slots. It costs 5NP for every spin until I burned all my 250NP. Bankrupt, I patiently grabbed anything from the money tree but it someone got the item before me and/or the wandering ghost had taken all the items!

Anyway, Judy, the daughter of Randy, assisted me on how to gain NP. Both Judy, Deb (BS player), and Rose (the wife of Randy) gifted me items which I auctioned few of them and I collected over 200000 NP. I didn't know then it wasn't easy to earn NP. I mishandled my neopoints and burned them all in Bruce B and Black Pawkeet Slots!

Too excited to explore the game, I spinned Wheel of Excitement but got mystery price and my pet had neopox. I visited Faerieland Healing Springs to heal my pet. I also tried my luck with Wheel of Monotony which took about 4 hours spinning before it finally stopped. Guess what I got? A gray stone which hit the health points of my pet down to 3/8! I never spin that wheel ever again.

How to play Neopets? I'm still a newbie until now and can earn neopoints between 10000-15000 NP a day. By playing puzzle and action games, each score has equivalent neopoints and have to send NP to collect it but limited to 3 scores per game daily.

I was upset when my pet got stuck in a Mystery Island Training School. It says I haven't paid yet her Level 3 course and my VO codestone as payment remained there and got stuck too.

Bored with the current situation on BlogShares' transaction fees, I registered with Neopets^® upon Randy's recommendation. He told me about this game last year but since we're actively trading and having fun on BlogShares, it didn't interest me at all.
