I love reading horoscopes, astrology, numerology, feng shui or even consulting fortune tellers and clairvouyants in the past for personal guidance in solving my problems but when I renewed my relationship with God two years ago (1997), everything changed...I am not scared anymore whatever the future lies ahead for me, as long as I see to it that prayers are recited each day for regular communication with the Lord and for my family's unity and protection...

Meanwhile, to the Chinese, as to other cultures, numbers possess magical powers. Some poets arranged lyrics and syllables in numerological schemes to bring a subconscious sense of harmony to the reader. The Chinese traditionally used what they considered auspicious numbers in their architecture and in ritual practices, the repetition of these numbers further sanctified a capital city.

The Chinese took great care to measure and build their temples according to the strict numerological calculations of geomancers. Miscalculations, they believed, would jeopardize not only the temple's sacred powers but also the worshiper's fortunes. Nine (9) and one (1) are the most auspicous Chinese numbers, according to David Lung, "Heaven, Earth and Man (Master's thesis, Iniversity of Oregon, 1978). Nine connotes fullness, it is the largest number. One signifies the beginning, the birth.

People here in the Philippines picked a date to open an exhibit too or in inaugurating a business because they believe it would bring them good luck -- numbers added up to nine, means "long life" in Mandarin. I remember 10 years ago, on August 8, 1988, a lot of business applications has been duly registered with SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) and other businesses opened on this date believing it would bring them goodluck. I was even planning to join them but, I dont have the resources and the time to start a small business.

To my surprise, I never thought that our birth names has something to do with our life path or destiny numbers, pinnacles, challenges, etc...Michael McClain's Astrology-numerology really amazed me that I'd thought of constructing my home page and inserting most of the readings I have copied from his site...
