Anxious to know me? My name is Laila*, a Filipino-Chinese mestiza, stand 5 feet 5 inches tall, heavy at 140 lbs, a globetrotter in the mid-80s until the mid-90s, single but dedicated parent to my three lovely grown-up kids.

Let me warn you that the main purpose of this home page is to communicate to the world, hoping to find my long, lost friends and schoolmates; to reach out and provide friends one standard information about me; and to put together all the favorite sites I surfed and visited, that's why, Lady Laila's Journey Through Life - A Touch of Filipina on the Net invades the World Wide Web! So? If you do not know how to appreciate a woman, this site is not for you, and you have the option not to continue browsing within this site...

This personal home page is sincerely and proudly dedicated to my children whom are my inspiration in this extended life of mine and likewise to all my friends who prayed, morally supported me, had been there patiently, and gave me online companionship when I was real lost and 'weeping' for my self-esteem that has been corrupted by relationship failure. Healing takes time and it had taken couple of years off my life wasted and unproductive. Ah! Those were the days and I'm planning a big leap soon with a fresh attitude and envision a bright new avenues for growth and fulfillment, not only for my kids but for myself, as a mother and as a woman.

Knowing that I will not be online very much anymore, I have tried reaching to more people by joining EarthCam TV last March 29, 2003 and went ON AIR broadcasting my TV Channel whenever I have the chance to do so. The net has full of weird stuffs and people YET, we can still choose the people we want to chat with. I have some regular buddies there already and I am considering of adding a new page here especially for them.

On the 27th of April 2003, I registered as a basic member with Ryze Business Networking and have joined Blogs & Bloggers, 500 Citizens of the World, *TRAVEL LOVERS*, Wireless Data Services and Mobile Multimedia Networks. It's a neat site for neat and business oriented individuals and this made significant changes in my online habits.
